You could wait and sit on till price increase, these classics is always going up prices. Frankly, I wouldn't sell it if I don't need money right now.
When is the price increase? Or did it already happen? I’m thinking of selling my cobalt blue caviar chevron medium classic from 16S that was kept brand new unused. I bought it from a luxury consignment store with the stickers still on the hardware BUT it was Ventes Privee ao there’s no authenticity card or serial sticker. Fashionphile offered me $4000 but it’s literally a brand new classic so I’m thinking it’s worth a lot more…

It depends on where you are. There hasn’t been a price increase in the US in a bit.

For me, not having the authenticity card OR the serial sticker devalues the bag immensely. I’m surprised you were offered as high a price as you were. Not trying to be mean, just realistic.

The market is still very saturated right now so offers are not going to be super high. A new one is 8800. If they sell this one for say 6k, a profit still has to be made, so they can’t offer to pay you a super high price.

FINALLY FP accepted my LV DE Favorite. I've submitted it multiple times over the past two+ years and got the "we cannot accept this at this time". I waited until there was hardly in stock and no other DEs. :yahoo:

Edit: Purchase price USD$1081. Payout was USD$800. I don't feel as if I lost anything on that 4 year old bag.

What condition are they in? What have they listed similar styles for recently? I was quoted $500 earlier this year for a leather pair that were very good to excellent.
Excellent condition, I only wore them to lunch once so the only visible wear marks are very slight imprints on the soles. Size 38. Similar ones are listed between $600 and $800 so $100 feels like they're having a laugh - I did a quote about six months ago for them and they offered $350, which I still felt was quite low, but compared to $100 it's a great deal!
