Another fake Louis Vuitton Gold Miroir Alama Bag by Bella Bags
Its sad that there were offers on their Ebay listing. I've emailed them about this, but so far, no reply.

I remember looking at that bag and thinking it was cute :nogood: How to you tell it's fake? I'm not very good at figuring it out for Miroirs :-s

edit: I think it's too big and too yellow of a gold? Is that right? I'm learning and would appreciate some help :-3

I received a Louis Vuitton Red Epi Speedy 25 City bag from Portero yesterday. I have several purchased from an LV boutique and am familiar with the way they are made. Something about this bag did not look or feel right - lining, piping, inside pocket. We immediately took it to a LV store and after a 15 minute examination by the store manager and sales associate, they politely told us, "Unfortunately this bag is not one of ours."
I am waiting for Portero to get back to me so I can send this thing back to them. So very disappointed....

good god I bought a keepall 50 and a Koala Wallet yesterday ! and the funny thing was they both will be ship from Japan, so I guess if it turn out to be fake ! I'd have to wait a long time to get my money back ... *sigh .. I'm furious right now.

When buying Louis Vuitton the ONLY way to make sure it is authentic, is buying it from their stores, They don't license or have distributors outside of their stores. And they never discount anything, unless you work for them, then I heard they get some sort of credit allowance each month.

It's sad when you see people believing they own an authentic Vuitton when in fact is a fake.
My best bet if you want Vuitton for a bit less is second hand, and always ask for the original receipt, I personally have sold a few items that didn't fit in my collection on my local kijiji site, and it always have worked out well for both parts.

Save your hard earned money for a few weeks more and get the Vuitton experience from walking into the store, being welcome, have a glass of champagne or espresso , choose your bag, purchase it. And walk away with a smile on your face.

Trust me, is worth it!!!

This is awful. Can someone please list some websites where they actually do sell authentic items. Ive tried luxedesignerhandbag.com and some of their items are suspicions too.

Yoogis closet is good, they have good return policy too. If you do a search you can find a lot of comments from others who have bought from them.

Hi fellow TPFers,

I understand this is not the Chanel thread, but I stumbled upon it doing a google search for Portero. So about 5 months ago I purchased a vintage Chanel Jumbo XL for $2300 from Portero. When the bag came, there were blemishes and scratches on the bag that were not mentioned in the description. I initially emailed Portero and received no reply. Yesterday, the latch on my bag fell off, and I again emailed Portero and received no reply. Further, I have tried calling their 1-877 number, which seems to be out of service. Also tried their online chat and waited for two hours but the "representative" seemed to always be helping other customers. Has anyone here tried contacting Portero for support, or did I get scammed :( Now I am afraid my purse is a fake as well...

Now I am HUGELY concerned & kicking myself that I didn't check here first! But thought it was all good as Potero were affiliated with Bella Bags, and had a click through on this site :(

Just bought a pre-loved Burberry Prorsum Python Satchel yesterday! Gawd I hope it is ok when it arrives! I'll post some pics in authentication once it arrives :( :(

Were you able to get any reply from Portero? I am having the same issue with Portero and no status update regarding a missing item.

Hi everyone, Just want to warn anyone buying things from Portero. They are so dishonest! I bought an expensive bag (Hermes, Lindy), and they forgot to include a dust bag! It was arrived from ebay seller (namecard was included)! I've been calling and emailing them for 2 weeks! And everytime they tell me that it is shipping out today! It is just so unbelievable!! Do not buy anything from that company, very unreliable and dishonest!!

So true. I know that LV customer service tells clients not to buy pre-owned, first, because you really don't know if it is authentic- scammers can post realistic photos and then pull a bait-and-switch- second, even if it is authentic, you really don't know where it's been. I mean someone could have vomited on it! And you wouldn't know!

I, too, love the boutique experience. It's so stately and serene, the service I've experienced is impeccable and you feel like a million bucks when you leave. :girlsigh:
