Hello fellow Poleners!

I haven’t been here in a while but just wanted to pop in to say that after buying 11 Polene bags, mostly online and one in the Paris store (some I kept, some I returned, some I sold), I can honestly say that the Mini Neuf in camel has been my most used bag of the last year. Not only among my Polene bags, but among my entire designer collection.

To me, this bag is just absolute perfection; stunning design that is unique and modern. It’s an edgy mini size but with a large capacity inside.

The color is that rich camel neutral that goes with virtually anything. The leather has proven to be very durable after over a year of daily wear. The opening is small so it’s very secure cause I can still leave it open and comfortably throw my things inside (I usually leave my phone popping out vertically, making it so easy to reach for).

The bag is very lightweight, the strap is the perfect length and width and it falls beautifully on my body when worn crossbody.

All in all, I worship this bag and I’m even thinking of getting another one (those new prices though, ouch) just to keep it as a reserve in case something happens to mine and Polene decides to discontinue it, for whatever reason.

Hope this love affair story is useful for anyone starting out their Polene collection.:P:love:

I wish I purchased the mini neuf too during their Free Shipping promo in December when I bought my Tonca bag. It would have saved me 60 euros (+shipping) considering the current prices :confused1:

I just made a YouTube video on my channel about my new Tonca bag. Maybe you could have a look if you’re interested. Let me know if you have any question
Wow, I watched your video the other day and I was so tempted to get the new Tonca bag! I love the Tonca as an underarm shoulder bag. I really had to spend time talking myself out of it. I have the Dix already, and I like the Tonca design less with its wider strap and overall look.

So in addition to getting the Polene Un Nano, I also decided to get the Polene Neuf Mini in black. Those of you who have been on this thread for a while might remember I used to want to get this bag, but I couldn't decide on the color, and I already have the full size Neuf.

I tried it out yesterday and I love it too. It's cute and holds just enough essentials. However, for people with large hands, the Neuf Mini and even the Un Nano might be frustrating to use. The Un Nano you can at least unbutton the clasps, but the Neuf is hard to get my phone in and out of. I knew that going in and I have small hands, so I'm willing to work with it. Just an FYI for anyone considering this design.

I was able to find the bag secondhand for 390, which is a great price compared to the retail price now. It's definitely a bag I can use to run errands with during the day, but also carry it for an evening out.

Thanks for visiting my channel  Don’t buy it yet if you’re not convinced it’s a style you want. You have time to think a bit longer since there’s no hurry to purchase now due to the recent price hike. There may be future designs that suit you more, or new colors, etc.

I wear the Tonca mostly as a short underarm shoulder bag and the wider strap actually makes it very comfortable on the shoulder. And it doesn’t slide off my shoulder.

As for the Dix, I prefer to wear it as a high, crossbody style. This way, it’s very secure especially when I need to take photos or film outdoors. Great for travels too.

For your reference, this is my Dix purchased in November directly from the Polene website.
So far, all my Polene bags are very well made.

As many TPF members have commented about the rise of fake Polene bags, I can confirm that. In my recent Tonca bag video, someone has posted a comment with a link (#amzlv) to a China website selling all fake bags. I have reported to YouTube and the comment has been deleted.

Be careful when you see such kind of comments on YouTube. I always report the videos to YouTube when they promote fake goods. Then YouTube will inform me that they have removed those videos I reported.
Thank you. Very helpful. If what I have is a fake I am incredibly impressed with the quality. Lol. So maybe it is not?
What is the name of your You Tibe Channel? I would like to watch your video.

Thanks, I hope yours is not a fake. Maybe some other TPF members who have the same bag can share their comments?

The link to my channel is in my signature
I hope you’ll enjoy my videos.

Yeah, I'm 99 percent sure it's a no. I have a lot of Polene bags and I tried a lot of styles before too. I rejected the Sept and the Umi because of the wide straps as well. I have the Neuf, Huit, Dix, Un, and Cyme. I really have plenty of bags and shouldn't get more! xD

I also love the Dix! I keep it at crossbody length too, and when I put it on I forget it's there. It's so light and comfortable on my body. I always bring it when I'm out all day.

Wow! You’re a real Polene fan! I missed the opportunity to add the Neuf / Neuf Mini to my collection in December during their free-ship promo. I was hesitating between the 2 Neuf sizes and I also like the Huit original size. I might still get one later this year.

Totally agree that the Dix is very comfortable to wear crossbody.

Quality issue or did I get duped? Purchased pre-loved and I don’t know if I’m being paranoid or if the loose thread is a common quality issue. View attachment 5953511View attachment 5953513View attachment 5953514
Hi I have this bag in cognac. I have a lot of photos here.

and I also have a video too if you want to compare it with the one you have. I bought mine directly from Polene's website.

So far I have only used it maybe 10 times and do not have any loose threads.

That’s a lovely cognac color 👍 I’m missing in my wardrobe. Thanks for sharing!
And after watching your mini neuf review, I want it even more! I’m hoping Polene will introduce more colors in their bags. I like colors.
