Another vote for midweek at the NY store. I was there late morning on a Thursday and there were zero lines and just a few people in the store. Service was great.

If you take your time and don't rush, you can find authentic Polene bags secondhand at good prices. I got an Un Nano and Neuf Mini this year at very reasonable prices. Like, pre-price increase, closer to what I initially paid when I first started buying Polene bags. It is amazing when I look at my order history to see how the prices have changed since then.
I almost got the mini Neuf before when they released this very pale blue and pale yellow versions, but it doesn't really suit my wardrobe. I decided on the black mostly because of hello catwalk city.
I purchased my first polene bag some months ago in Paris (waited for like an hr in cue). I also stumbled upon a sponsored ad by them on Instagram. Loved their designs, material and the prices! I was shocked that this brand was founded back in 2016. Never heard of it before last year. Some are saying their bags will be going up in price in the years to come.
yes is the stitching the biggest red flag, the hot stamp is also suspect.

thank you. After doing more research and looking closely at the bag, I am pleased to say I definitely think it is real. I purchased from a seller out of Belgium and I have compared to many other Polene bags. I think it is an older one, but definitely real.
The stores are so pretty. First video shows the Umi in stores.
I know! I wish I would have gotten more bags before, because now I really have to ponder before spending around and over $600 on these bags, knowing that they're not actual designer-level investments. They do sell quickly but they naturally don't and they hold a good amount of their value, but it's still a big portion of what a more reputable bag would cost, one that would truly hold their value like LV, YSL, Gucci, etc.I wish I purchased the mini neuf too during their Free Shipping promo in December when I bought my Tonca bag. It would have saved me 60 euros (+shipping) considering the current prices
I think you did great getting it second-hand. I am now looking at pre-owned Polenes before buying. It is a win-win. You pretty much save the same amount that you would lose if you decide to sell it.
