Hi: does anyone own the full size Sept? I absolutely LOVE the style, but have a few concerns. One- how much can you actually fit in it? Two- how does it lay when you wear it crossbody? I would love it more if you could remove the strap.
Not much. The top handle I think you can remove, but the crossbody strap you cannot remove. I returned mine because the straps were wider than I liked, and because the bag design was very flat. It just didn't seem to flatter me. It felt more like a small bag to me.

However, I also love the style and I think it's beautiful.

Thought I would share my recent positive customer service experience. I had preordered a Béri bag in black with chain during the holiday season and it arrived this week with a faulty clasp that was loose. I emailed customer service with photos and asked for an exchange. I fully expected a fight given all the negative reviews I’ve seen/heard about their customer service. To my delight, they apologetically sent me a free return label, no questions asked, and they are shipping a replacement at zero cost to me. I don’t even have to wait until the return arrives to receive my replacement. Extremely pleased!

I own numero Sept in black grained leather. I love it. It fits more than Dix for sure! I can fit in a small wallet, smallish makeup bag, sunglasses, pack of tissues, my phone, hand sanitizer, a fold up carrier bag... I love the wide strap, it's comfortable. The bottom is the widest part of the bag, well that's the bit that sticks out most when worn crossbody and you may bump into things or people with it but it's a matter of getting used to it, not a big problem at all. I don't use the top handle at all, but keep it attached because it looks cute...
Having said all that, for me, Sept is a colder weather bag - it looks fabulous with coats, jackets, blazers. I don't reach for it during summer.

So it sound like it doesn't get in the way when moving around?

Does anyone have a recommendation of where to buy a Polene in the purse forum perhaps? I am iso a Dix in black pebbled leather - I have been looking for a few months. Sadly I waited until after the new year, not knowing the price hike would be that big of a deal. But now, I see the Dix and Cyme are skyrocketing in price, getting scooped up quickly, and there are suddenly a whole bunch of fakes (more than I’ve seen in the last several months) out there!
Any advice is appreciated. Or if you happen to know of a reputable seller with a black (or cognac) Dix in the pebbled leather!

Interesting! I love the dix and I would think it holds more than the Sept. I assume you have both bags?

Yes, love them both, but sept holds more. I think it's due to the shape. sept has a pretty wide bottom and opens wide. dix is narrow and round. I may still need to practise how to stack things in Dix to the brim but then taking them out can't be easy.

Hello fellow Poleners!

I haven’t been here in a while but just wanted to pop in to say that after buying 11 Polene bags, mostly online and one in the Paris store (some I kept, some I returned, some I sold), I can honestly say that the Mini Neuf in camel has been my most used bag of the last year. Not only among my Polene bags, but among my entire designer collection.

To me, this bag is just absolute perfection; stunning design that is unique and modern. It’s an edgy mini size but with a large capacity inside.

The color is that rich camel neutral that goes with virtually anything. The leather has proven to be very durable after over a year of daily wear. The opening is small so it’s very secure cause I can still leave it open and comfortably throw my things inside (I usually leave my phone popping out vertically, making it so easy to reach for).

The bag is very lightweight, the strap is the perfect length and width and it falls beautifully on my body when worn crossbody.

All in all, I worship this bag and I’m even thinking of getting another one (those new prices though, ouch) just to keep it as a reserve in case something happens to mine and Polene decides to discontinue it, for whatever reason.

Hope this love affair story is useful for anyone starting out their Polene collection.:P:love:

@WillWordForBags i love my mini neuf, too! I can’t remember the name of the color off-hand, but it’s more of a taupe. It fits crossbody so nicely that I forget I’m wearing it! Wish the opening was larger but that would mess up the beautiful design. I still have a few mini uns, (sold most other Polenes that I’d bought over the years) but I also keep reaching for the mini neuf!
