Yes I think you can pull it off with or without the button down especially in the summer. You can also wear with jeans and a button down or cardigan.

Hi everyone! I’m wearing the navy Zimmerman dress below with either my gris asphalt jige or griolet Kelly cut to a holiday party. Any suggestions for heels to go with the outfit? Looking for 4inch pumps.
Also, do you think I should go with the jige or Kelly cut?

I'd go with the Kelly cut as I think the Jige is too casual for this dress JMO ..

shoe with a diamante strap.. Need more clues as to what your "shoe look "is

Hey all - looking to move outside my traditional black/gray bags to add a gold or other brown neutral (except I dislike etoupe) to my closet. However I mainly wear black tops/sweaters with jeans, black dresses and other predominantly black outfits. Can anyone here share photos of gold (or brown) bags with black outfits? So far I am having trouble finding photos and a little scared to take the gold plunge! Thanks in advance!
These are not my pics, but I did a quick IG search for gold and these (all public) can up:
I think a gold bag works great with black clothing. I don’t typically reach for my black bags when wearing solid black clothing items. I tend to like a contrasting bag, but not always a “pop”. Gold is a great way to break up a black outfit, but still keep it neutral. I use gray bags for this also.

Great idea! As someone who wears primarily ( really only) black, I've been toying with the idea of a "not black" bag. I can't thank OP enough for putting this out there- and for lolakitten for posting those enabling photos so quickly!
