Hi I want to tell you my experience in Hermes flagship store I went at 10:35 and went to the shows department to ask for chypre they didn’t have any colors except white in my size so I didn’t buy when I went down stairs I asked the leather department for leather appointment and straight away to my surprise they gave me on spot appointment I asked for Kelly 25 or Berkin 25 but the sa went to check and he said they didn’t have a b or k and brought a jespire which I rejected .
I will try again the lottery to have another appointment wish me luck

Take into account hotel(s), flights, cars, restaurants, etc. I don't think it's that much cheaper like people make it out to be. I think the only advantage in Paris is just that you don't have to be an established customer like you do at a home store.
Yeah this is assuming your whole purpose is to get a bag. That’s why I would think and hope most people just tag this onto their existing trip. I only add it to my itinerary as a nice to have but if I don’t get an appointment I don’t stress. I don’t let it ruin my trip or make it the focus of. I see it as a bonus, but I don’t go out of my way or make it my mission to get a bag or hit up all the appointment desks just to get a cancellation or let it ruin my schedule. It’s a lottery.

Totally makes sense. I was just curious since I will be there anyway, agree that any potential savings would be offset by travel costs. I will probably swing by out of curiosity. But I am only interested in very specific things so it may not matter. If one asks for a cancellation should you lead with “I am specifically looking for x”

For a leather appointment? Yes, if it’s a non qb you are after you should lead with that.

Agreed. If you aren't looking for an qb you should absolutely say so. I believe it's also helpful if you pop by after you've applied a few times so you can also let me know that you have been trying the lottery, albeit unsuccessfully. Of course, if this works for your schedule.

Correct- a C isn’t not considered a QB. A friend of mine got a C as a walk in back in Oct.
That may be officially changing soon though. My SA wouldn’t sell me a C last week at the Sevres store since I was already getting a K28 that day. She said only 1 iconic bag at a time and when I mentioned I thought a C isn’t considered an iconic bag, she said she was told that C’s are considered as such now.

Oh wow. That’s a huge shift! I placed a SO for a C in Oct of last year and was told it’s not considered a QB. Very interesting turn of events!
