Need some advice...I'll be heading to Paris in a few days and have an appointment scheduled with my SA a few days after arrival. I'm looking for a K25 or K28 but as there's no guarantee that she will offer me anything, should I apply for the lottery appointment as well? Do you think the SA would be upset if she saw in the system that I applied?

Are you doing other shopping with your SA or just hoping for a bag offer? If you struck gold and got your dream bag via the lottery on your first day, would you cancel the appointment with your SA?

Do you normally get bags via your SA? If so, why not ask her re the likelihood of getting what you want. If not, you could ask for her opinion as to whether you should try lottery. I tend to think if you do normally get bags via your SA, you stand a better chance that way, but everyone’s experience is different

I agree. If this is an SA you have a relationship with why not just ask if you should apply for a leather appointment or if she can help you with bags? Do you feel like that’s inappropriate? I think it sounds normal.

I got my first B30 with her last year so this will be the 2nd time working with her.

If your SA is in the leather group or is she has already sold you a bag in the past, she will probably try to find you the bag you want or something similar during your appointment. It’s a very common thing to request for bags once they know you.

Has anyone gotten a leather appt if so how many times did you apply before you got the appt just curious if it’s even worth applying also curious is the best time to apply at 10:30 when it opens or does it not matter? Thank you in advance ❤😃

It’s always “worth it” to apply since it takes 2 minutes and costs nothing! Other people getting or not getting an appointment has zero impact on your chances. Chances are low, always, but there’s no reason to skip applying.

People def get appts through the online system. And it takes very little effort to apply so why not. Some ppl get an appt after a few attempts and some try for 2 weeks without luck. Try your chances! Good luck 🍀

Depending how long your trip is and when your appointment is during your trip you could also broach if there isn’t something on your immediate list at the time of your appointment if you could come back/they can keep and eye out for you. Thats a risk in itself that a bird in the hand at the appointment is better, but, just something to consider.
