I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Paris report. I don't think FSH is crazily busy, I've seen worse. At opening maybe yes because people are queueing outside to be let in at 10.30am.
I have seen the normal tantrum throwing and complaints at the reception desk. It's no real point as all it brings is a bad memory to the whole visit.
To the young lady who was literally hyper with excitement I congratulate you on your new Constance in Etoupe. To the other lady who calmly modelled a Gris Perle Matte Croc C18, did you accept?
Bags are definitely being offered in the rooms and on our way to dinner we saw a lady taking photos of her new bag with the flower display on the fireplace at the Crillon lobby. The white carrier, orange box ribbon and felt were all there on the sofa. So cute!
So far we have not been affected by the disturbances but after closing time, FSH now has new iron gates pulled across the windows to protect them from damage.

(Apologies if this is not the correct thread) Has anyone had any issues contacting their Paris SA via email or phone if they were offered the contact? My US SA advised that they were having issues with their emails and unless I text her, usually I get zero email responses.

Not any problem to email, though FSH SA usually communicates via what’s app. They do check both, but next time you see her, if you prefer email, let her know.

I’m so excited re the box leather @periogirl28 ! Thank you for letting us know

Hello Ladies

Just wanna share my today experience with you !

Back in January 2023 I was lucky to get an appointment at Georges V (through Website) I got a B30 Sellier!
I tried maybe 100-200x before getting this appt !

Yesterday I tried again, telling myself « It will take few months to got one »
Surprise, got one immediately, at opening, at FSH !

Arrived at 10h, waited 30min for the opening!
We were 5-10 people waiting with an appt !
I was assigned a male SA, very nice!
He asked me if I wanted to drink something and once back what I wanted !
We chat a little bit and he left !
See him coming back after 15min, with 4 boxes and went upstairs before coming back to me asking to follow him.

Another couple was upstairs and very happy

In a private room he told me what he got for me :
- What I asked for : Kelly28 retourne in a gris shade with GHW and a Lindy26 in Rouge H, GHW/Evercolor

- 2 other bags that I declined because not my style and/or 2 bags were already enough for my bank account haha !

We chatted a little bit after that waiting to pay !
He then brought me my bags and gave me also his contact details to secure further appts directly with him and also ask for other items directly !

I was beyond than happy !
Def a great experience !

For the ones wondering; as usual I was wearing casual clothes : Legging, NB sneakers, Celine jumper and a trench ! No make up and my regular, daily jellewery !

I saw while waiting, other people not getting a bag or a quota bag. I have to say they all looked too much dress up and not friendly at all, no smile, almost rude when speaking the SA’s!

It’s my unpopular opinion but I guess that being yourself, being smiley and show your true excitement to be here is a better way to score than dress up to much and pretend to be snobby !

Will share pictures soon
What a great story of your success. Congratulations!

Hey everyone, I'm visiting Paris in July and hoping to get a leather appointment/quota bag. It seems like Hermes is working towards a global profile system, but would my non-quota bag purchases from other boutiques show up on my profile? I am also looking for a couple non-bag items (shoes, belt, wallet), and I'm wondering if it's better to buy some now at my local boutiques (in the middle east) or just do a walk-in to the FSH store on my first day and try to get all my non-bag items there. Is it better to wait and shop in Paris for everything?

I do have an account in NY but it's not a high spend, although I do have one quota bag (Kelly) I bought over a year ago. Not sure if that will show up and help at all.

Is anyone else having trouble with the lottery appointment form? It seems like it's not open / working today (Monday, 5/8). I know stores are closed today due to a public holiday, but the store is open tomorrow.
Yes! I was just trying to test out the system (mostly to see what it looks like, etc.), and even though it was after 10:30 paris time the website hadn't changed and still said to come back after 10:30. I kept refreshing now managed to get myself blocked because it thinks I'm a robot  Hoping that the system resets after a while...

Today is a bank holiday in France, so appointments for tomorrow Tuesday 9 were secured on Saturday. You will have to wait until tomorrow to register for Wednesday appointments

Reports are different as to which SAs can see your global profile. Having lived in the ME, the prices are much better in Paris....personally I would wait just because of that, unless it is a hassle bringing a bunch of things hme.

Buying in Paris will not, of course, help with the lottery. It will help if you are chasing a cancellation/walk-in spot. IMO, it will also help once you do secure an appointment.

Hello all, does the Hermes stores in Paris need your actual passports to purchase or can it be a photo from your phone? Asking because I would like to leave my passport at hotel and don’t really want to carry our actual passports around. Also, if you know the answer for Barcelona too would appreciate it. Thanks.
If you want to appreciate a VAT refund they will need your actual passport. If you are concerned, purchase a cloth Fanny pack that you can wear under your clothes!
