From my personal experience (as a non-VIP, non-celebrity hee hee), once I got an appointment..even if I did not end up buying anything at all...they system do not let me get another appointment for months.

There was once that I got 1 appointment about 3 months AFTER the previous appointment which I got a non-quota bag (Evelyne Mini), and when I went to that 2nd appointment 3 months after, the SA told me I already got a bag 3 months ago and stock is low...so, she hinted that it is impossible to offer me a bag...but she was still nice and went away to check and came back with nothing (so, she might have just 'went to check' so that she does not have to look at my SAD FACE haha, probably went to have coffee and came back).

Hi thank you! I was able to register for 2 days still waiting for any update now if i get appt tomorrow fingers crossed!

The reason I ask is I advised 2 friends over the last year to buy what they would in the US boutique ( don’t go out of your way to drop an insane $$$) and try their luck when they visit Paris for a vacation….and they did. It might have been high 4 figures they spent -and they got an appointment and a quota bag but neither got a card or offer to bypass the appointment system again.

I have been buying pretty regularly in the last 5 years in Paris/ and when I went to do a return a few years back in FSH on a cardigan- the SA approached me to work with him for everything including bags. I was shocked and now- don’t dare deviate from my SA… I mentioned to him- plz don’t leave without telling me!

Another crazy story- my SA from almost 7 years ago from Hermes was in Chanel now. I recognized him straight away ( I had shopped with him maybe a 4 times) he immediately remembered me and my bag and we chatted extensively -He did offer to help in the boutique both with Chanel and FSH where he has contacts as well.

It goes to show you- the world is small ( luxury world being even smaller) and if you treat ppl with real decency… they remember!

The SA at my Dec lottery appointment implied that they can see UK purchase history now (not sure how much detail). If your last bag was in Sept 2022 I don't think this would affect you as it's now 2023 :)

I got lucky; I had a helpful concierge. But, by the time I got there last summer, a new manager of the Paris stores was not allowing that ( that's what happened to me and many others ). Last summer, I spoke to the SA from FSH, and she had been moved out of leather. So, last summer, I had no luck! My only offer was while I was in Europe from my SA at home. It was another Kelly and I wanted a Birkin so I waited, I regret that! :sad:
