Ooooh I love a good success story! Congrats!!! Did you get craie?! Can you share pics please!
I got a B30 beton with ghw! I posted some pics earlier, but here's one in better lighting. :) For referenten the rodeo is craie so you can see how the colors compare. I had a great experience and a lovely SA who gave me their card with their number written on it as well!

Congrats!! Beton is a beautiful color!

I just got back from a short trip to Paris and was not lucky enough to get a leather appointment by lottery. I put in a request before I left, no luck. I then went to the FSH store when I arrived, dressed in Hermes from head to toe, and purchased some items I was looking for, like a diamond pendant, a belt, and a coin wallet. I had read previously that perhaps purchasing something may trigger the lottery, so I tried again after making my purchase and still no luck. I even tried going back to the store the next day to see if the SA I worked with in belts could help me out, and she did try talking to the leather appointment person in French, but still no luck. I feel like it's hard to form a relationship with an SA because each SA specializes in a specific department, and the leather SA's are separate. So it's not like the jewelry SA, who gave me her number, can sell me a bag, even if she wanted to. All the SA's who worked with me were also all very young and seemed fairly new, so maybe less pull. The SA I had for shoes actually works there part time because she's still in school. At my local store, my SA can help me with various items, not just a specific category so it's easier to form a relationship. I do have a wishlist at my local store but I am new to Hermes, so I have not had a bag offer yet. My local SA thinks by the end of this year, so I am hopeful.

While in Paris, I visited FSH and Sevres locations. I visited Sevres on a Saturday, which was a big mistake. It was a zoo and no one was available to help me in SLG. I was able to find someone to help me in silk, and when I checked out, the young lady checking me out expressed frustration at how busy it had been and the computers apparently were not working. She seemed super stressed. Personally, I found the FSH store to be a better shopping experience.

I guess it just comes down to random luck, at least that's what I'm telling myself. All the stuff I read online about dressing the part, making a purchase, etc did not pan out for me. I suppose if I had an SA who had more pull and wanted to help me out, I could've gotten an appointment outside the lottery like some people have experienced, but unfortunately I was not one of the lucky ones. I could tell my belt SA was trying, but the leather appointment manager was unswayed. I was definitely disappointed I was not able to purchase a K/B but I am happy with the other items I purchased. Snagged the last pair of raspberry alligator Orans, which are gorgeous, and I really like the diamond toggle pendant. Also, all the SA's I worked with were very nice and pleasant. I did not encounter any rude SA's at either store. I plan to visit Paris again this summer, so fingers crossed!

Agree on random luck. I don’t think dressing the part or any prespend matters in getting an appt; in fact someone on this thread said she and her friend spent 80K EU and no bags. I was fortunate at FSH, but the majority of my spend 5X plus and rising ( I stopped keeping count) is at my local store. If anything happens for me at FSH, it’s simply a happy surprise. I hope you enjoyed Paris in other respects.

I stopped keeping count too! :P Probably better for my sanity this way LOL! I also visited Cartier and Van Cleef, and had good experiences there. All the SA's I worked with at all the stores I visited, including smaller boutiques, and actually even waitstaff at restaurants, were super nice so it was a nice experience overall.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, so please remove or redirect me if needed! When I was last in Paris I got the business card of the SA who helped us around the store and got us a leather appointment as walk ins. I have kept in touch with them since via phone and have recently asked for help to get some items I can’t get locally. During the last phone call they said that when I’m next in Paris I should let them know in advance so that they could clear their schedule or arrange their days off to assist me in store and help me with anything I want there. I’m planning my next trip and was wondering whether the SAs who are not primarily in the leather department would be able to offer regular customers bags when they see them on appointments one to one? My initial assumption was yes, as I assume even in Paris they must have regular customers. But you never know with Paris so I thought I’d ask here!
When we were there, we got a card from an SA, but it doesn’t list personal contact details for him. Is that to be expected, or did we ge the “brush you off” card?
