Putting 'no preference' for the store choice when you apply increases your chances. Also, even if you get an appointment at the flagship, it doesn't mean you have a better chance of getting a bag as it depends on so many factors, not just the store's inventory, so I'd suggest leaving no preferences instead of selecting FSH only

Hi Gelato, thanks for your response. From my understanding FSH is the only store that you can be offered a bag without purchase history. The same cant be said for the Sevres and George V stores I believe?

All Paris stores follow same bag allotment politics hence why they all require appointments through the same system. Indeed selecting no preference is the most best option as to not eliminate 2/3 of the Paris stores. Now, FSH does have the largest stock, but also the most appointments.

As i have received a lot of msgs about my recent offer i would like to share my paris experience. We planned this trip to paris as i wanted to try my luck and get a cargo birkin , our plan was to stay for 8 days and try with walk in and online. All the below is related to FSH only, i have visited both george v and sevres one time each and it was packed, and everything is sold out.


Monday : applied on Saturday for Monday and got rejected. We went on Monday afternoon to get some items but everything was sold out, i ended up ordering a pair of boots from the website and was able to do the tax free for it.

Tuesday: rejected.

Wednesday: rejected, and rejected for Friday as the store was closed and i had to apply on Wednesday.

Thursday: I opened the website to try applying for another store as i was already rejected for the next day for FSH, but then i was surprised that i could actually apply again for Friday. I applied and got the confirmation email by 8 pm for Friday appointment.

The SA went for around 20 mins, at this time i heard two people next to me get rejected. The same line “sorry due to low stock we dont have birkins or kellys”.



The sa came back with a small box and i followed her to jewellry section, there was a couple being offered a SO and a guy being offered the new birkin 30 3in1, mini lindy and verrou croc.
She opened the box and it was birkin 25 in togo in chai, the bag was amazing but i was disappointed as i wanted something more fun.

She told that she also had toile in k28 and B30 if i was interested , she offered to bring the kelly 28 for me to see it. I hated the size on me , i prefer the 25 and 32.


I then asked if i could see the 30 and it was love at first sight. The size is not what i wanted but it suit me so much.

I was also offered roulis in ostrich trench and geta in nata i rejected both.


I ended up getting the birkin 30 toile and mini 24/24 in gold.
Notes from this appointment:

1- SA informed me that i could only choose 1 bag from the following : b/k/c/Lindy in any size.

2- white colour bags are consider very hard to get now and very popular so basically impossible.

3- They do have stock for shoes but they are more selective on whom to sale them to.

Hi everyone.
I’m new to the forum. I wanted to share my story, which is quite incredible. I still can’t believe it. It’s a long story so take a cup of tea .
I felt in love with H items 4 or 5 years ago. I browsed a lot on the internet to understand all the stories of H game/reseller blablabla, so I knew that being able to purchase a H bag, especially B/K/C is not simple. I went to a H store for the first time when I was in Venice some years ago and asked for a B or K. They said they didn’t have any and I left without buying anything.
Then at FSH they began the lottery system so I tried almost every week/month.
Few months after Venice, I managed to get a herbag online ghw (so beautiful) and went to a store in Nantes to buy a twilly (did asked for a B/K but they had none). Again few months later I went to FSH store to get a pair of Santorini (the SA was so lovely and gave me his card).
My DH tried also the lottery system and he got an appointment at Georges V where they said no BK and offered him a Bolide, which he declined.
I continued the lottery system
During that time, I got a kelly box vintage and a vintage H watch and came to the after sales service for a spa session. For Christmas 2021 I came to FSH store to buy another twilly. This summer, I scored another herbag (different color than the first one that’s why I splurged ).

A day during August I went to the FSH store asking for an appointment, by saying that I have tried for many many time. They checked my name, saw the number of trials and said unfortunately I have to keep trying.

Then few days after I was in H store at Bordeaux, met a lovely SA who gave me her card. I was looking for gifts for friends so bought a H tray and a shower cream for my friends. Then I asked for the Chypre and a mini bag (I didn’t precise a bag name) and was offered the Chypre in white and a mini Evelyne black phw. I felt so lucky on that day. She even told me to email her on september to check for a slot of SO. I emailed her but no reply until now but who knows.
After Bordeaux we had a day trip at Biarritz where I chatted with a lovely SA who noted down my wish list and gave me her email. I emailed to thank her the day after, she replied by saying she would try to fullfill my wish. I did precised her that is a gift I wanted for my self as a present of my first daughter, and also as a push present for my second. She did noted down.
During all the time I tried the lottery system without any success.
After our summer vacation, I went to the FSH store again, asking for an appointment (again) and they checked (again) all my trials. I said that I really wanted a present for my 2nd child, that I would give birth in only a few months. It would be amazing if they happened to have a cancellation. The man that I met was so lovely, he told me to come back at 5pm. Omg
I came back at 5pm, waited for my SA for about 45’. It was a very busy day. She finally came and apologised. She offered us to drink and asked us to take a seat, right at the leather department. She asked what was I looking for and I told her B25 or K25 in black/gold/any grey nuance and she said no BKC as in August the artisans don’t work and we have to wait until the end of the year to get one of those bags. I asked her if it was possible to have an appointment with her at the end of the year, she said no, only through the lottery system. Then she asked if there were something else that I wanted to see. I always wanted to try the GP so I ask for the GP in neutral color. She then was away for about 15’ then get back with a gold GP. The bag was very very cute and I tried/looked at every corner of the bag for about 10’. I even asked her to show me B25 and K25 on display, to compare the size. She was sooo patient with me.
After looking at the B and K on display, I told her that she could put them back. She put the bags back and talked to someone at the leather counter for about 10’.
Then she came back and I declined politely the GP as my heart was set for the B25 and K25. She told me that she was very sorry and she could do an exception for me. She gave me an appointment with her specifically, to discuss about my wish/leather/hardware. She also gave my her phone number ❤️.
That day came (I was over the moon so I mistook the day…I went to the store 1 week before the real appointment day. She was able to be available but I felt really guilty…), she took us to the 1st floor and she asked again to confirm my wish. Then she was off for about 25’ after serving us drinks, then came back empty hands. She said she was so sorry that none of the bag I wanted was on stock, and she didn’t manage to check the arrival of any of them, except for a B25 in black GHW. This beauty would arrive on september and she ordered the bag for me, under my name . Omg I couldn’t believe what I heard, my heart was away from me. I wanted to hug her so much. She was such a fairy ❤️❤️❤️. She told me we will meet again, no pressure to buy the bag. If I don’t like the color we can choose another one. That black is very classical so I can reserve another color for a second bag, a Kelly for example. I was so so happy and over the moon. Then finally the bag arrived, I picked it up yesterday. One of my dream bags, thanks to my H fairy. How I love her ❤️❤️❤️.
So that’s guys. I still can’t believe what I had experienced. Btw all the SAs that I met during this journey are really helpful and nice ❤️

What an incredible story and congrats on your bag! Just goes to show- kindness and patience can help too. Hope you got a chance to build a relationship that you can visit with your lovely SA directly again…

Not at all, i have been shopping at fsh since 2015 but i go once a year and i buy shoes and bags nothing crazy. I was also shocked when she said i’ll bring the kelly while the 25 birkin was still there, she had to take the kelly though before bringing the 30.

This post is a bit delayed, but nonetheless I wanted to share my experience in Paris. We had a big family European tripped in July, there were 10 of us and I had absolutely zero expectations of getting an appointment or having the time to continuously check back for cancellations. Paris was bustling with people and energy and I had my kids and my parents along. We arrived on Saturday, July 17 in the evening. Prior to our arrival I tried for Monday appointments at FSH with both my phone and my husband’s; we received rejections that evening. Monday I tried again with both phones for appointments at FSH and we got rejected again. Tuesday morning I tried again with both phones, but this time I left the boutique option open to any location. At this point in our trip, I still hadn’t even had time to make it into any of the H boutiques! Tuesday morning I quickly left the family and walked over to FSH to take a look. I bought two pairs of Orans, but nothing else I inquired about was in stock. When I got back to our hotel I made a joke to my husband saying now that I bought something, watch I’m going to get an appointment. Sure enough that evening, I received a confirmation for an appt on Wednesday at 4pm at the boutique on Sevres. I was in complete shock. Having only ever purchased a B25 at FSH 4 years ago when I was last in Paris, my expectations regarding stock at Sevres were completely nonexistent. The rest of my family headed off to Rome Wednesday morning and we had plans to spend the day with my husband’s cousin and her family. At avid H lover herself, his cousin was equally excited about my appointment and I asked her to come along with me to my appointment. Half way through our lunch, my appointment time changed to 4:30. When we were done with lunch, I checked again and it said my appointment was imminent and to head over to the boutique! I’ve never seen two women ditch their kids and husbands as quickly as we did! We excitedly walked into Sevres and headed down to the leather appt area. The associate kindly asked my name and to see my confirmation. She found Me on her list and asked us to have a seat as there were a few ahead of me. So we sat, we waited, we observed. We joked about what offers I’d get or of course a flat out “sorry madam we have nothing today”. Saw a few people being offered Roulis and Picotin, so I knew this was likely not going to have the same outcome as my FSH visit 4 years ago. After about 40 mins this pleasant gentleman walked over, introduced himself and asked me what I was looking for. I said a mini Kelly, pouchette or Kelly 25 in fun bright summer colors. No preference of leather or hardware. He asked if I’d be interested in a Birkin and I said not at this time because I already have two. Off he want to check and our jokes continued about what (if anything) he’d come back with. After about 15-20 mins he came out empty handed and I simply thought it my head this was what I expected and now off we go to the Dior museum. However, he smiled and asked us to follow him to another room. Still in disbelief we followed him to a room and I saw the box. I immediately knew it was a larger bag but still excited to see it! The SA said this was the only thing he had in a fun summer color and he thinks I’ll be happy with it. Out came a stunning K28 Bleu Celeste Epsom Sellier with PHW. The first Sellier I had tried and she was beautiful! The color was so vibrant and I knew she was coming home with me! I also bought another pair of Orans and our magical afternoon at Sevres came to an end. It was definitely another unforgettable Paris H experience!

hi, just sharing my first visit to Hermes in Paris recently. Only there for 3 days alone. Zero purchase history in France.
Rejected for first day and second day. On the second day itself, I went to Sevres store to visit and make some purchase (end up with 2 rings - one gold one silver) and a Barenia watch strap. The SA was professional, but not friendly enough to offer me anything to drink, or make small talk when I tried to engage her. Asked her for a calvi and she said nothing is available.
I hated that I shopped with her lol.

Went to the leather appt lady to try my luck but of course she was polite to say no. Third day lottery was also rejected despite now with purchase history.

That’s it! I hope I have better luck next year ◡̈

Could you pls let me know how to get the tax free form for online items ?!!! I was able to buy some sushi plates but no idea how to get the tax free form !!! I’ll leave France by Oct 1st so if you see this post pls lmk if you don’t mind ! Ty !!

I found an app called WEVAT which can help doing tax free in France for online purchases (they used Hermes receipt as an example). Does anyone have an experience using the app?

Going to Paris on the first week of October and I am super excited! Does anyone know if the Avalon blanket is in stock at the FSH location? Interested in buying a pair of white Oran sandals as well! Hopefully I can score a leather appointment but if I don’t it is what it is.

P.s my dream bag would be a birkin 25 or BIRKIN 30 in any neutral colors :”)
