I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Dear all, for those who were granted a leather goods appointment from online at FSH, may I ask how many times did it take until you finally get a slot?
Thank you all!
The appointment system is a lottery. Every day that you apply, you have a chance of 1 out of x to be selected, x being the number of people applying that day.
The chance of success is essentially the same random chance each time (some days may be slightly less busy than others). We have folks here who were selected first try and folks who tried hundreds of times. Wishing you the best of luck!

Thanks so much! i scheduled my second appt for RTW, so won’t be stressed going forward
Bread n Roses sounds much nicer

its just I had never been into FSH before and reading this thread gave me a different :whut: impression
But, the SA was really nice (most SAs like my DH bc he’s chatty and interested about artisanal process, and not so worried about purchase or offer outcomes) :flowers:

That is so true! Sometimes I also get a different impression that things will be more difficult than they actually are after reading posts here. I don’t mind though as it helps manage my expectations and then I am pleasantly surprised when things turn out better than expected.

Also I think I am a bit like your husband - chatty and (now) less invested in purchase/offer outcomes which make it so much less stressful.

Hi Everyone!
Hope someone doesn’t mind answering this and this was probably asked before:giggle:.
Does anyone know when the best time/month would be to travel to Paris? I’m thinking of planning a trip with my mom to shop and was hoping to go at a time where stores have the most stock and less foot traffic

TIA

There is no best time, but i like October/ November and April/ may. Not that crowded weather is nice, perfect for walking and going around the city. My least favourite is august too crowded hot and everything is sold out.

I was also told April/May by the George V SA when I was there in mid June this year.

Hey guys!

I have registered for an appointment and now it’s 12.09 am in Paris and I still haven’t received my reply.

The link to my confirmation just shows that my request has been registered and that’s it.

1. Check spam or junk. My rejections went there.
2. Sometimes rejections don’t receive an email or response
This happens sometimes. Make sure you try again for tomorrow. Good luck

They're closed on Sunday so you may not get anything via text or email, but double check your spam or promo folder if you use Gmail. You should apply again at 10:30 am for an appointment on Monday.

It still just means that you haven’t got an appointment… I also got no response a couple of times after I applied for the appointment.

Hi, i hope this is ok to ask on here. Admin please delete if it is not. There are some items currently available online which I am after. I dont want to risk them not being available when I go to Paris but I also wanted to try get tax back.
Has anyone been able to return online items in store and repurchase to receive a tax form?
Thanks

Items purchased online can’t be détaxéd. At least when I was in Paris last time.

I believe it's also not possible to buy online and return them to a physical store, unless in special cases like product defect, etc.
