I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I believe that has helped me to get the quota bags with the better colours.
I know I sound almost desperate to land a bag on this trip.
Would you suggest I start with fine jewellery or watches or something else for my prespend to land a bag on the same day ?
Would your answer be any different if I buy some jewllery from an SA at the Serves store (which I have learnt is more personalized rather than compartmentalized like fsh). Come back the next day to buy some other stuff.

I see this a lot in this thread - the desperation to get an appointment/bag in Paris. While there are a lot of advantages to doing so (price, no pre spend, selection), I feel like these members forget they are in PARIS! A city filled with beautiful art, food and architecture. Personally, I could not be bothered trying to plan my days around attempting to get an appointment - stalking different stores, haranguing the check in person for cancellations, or begging a SA for a leather appointment. My only advice would be if you are staying at a nicer hotel, consider asking the concierge if an appointment can be arranged (that is a long shot also).

You've gotten desirable bags from your home store (Singapore, which is quite competitive). All that money you were going to spend in Paris with the hopes of getting a bag? Spend it with your home store. Your SA will be grateful and more bags will show up in due time.

You put things in perspective. Thanks for your thoughts. It could be the adrenaline rush of scoring an appointment, the joy of being able to land a bag without pre spend, excitement of jumping through hoops. The attractions in Paris are so dreamy and beautiful, yet they don't evoke the same kind of thrill I get from an H store. It sounds like I have morphed into an H addict unknowingly.

Yes we all understand the complete adrenaline thrill of being offered an amazing item/ bag in the flagship. It's been a long while for me, but still, the excitement never gets old when my SAs bring in surprise boxes to open. I can confess to being a complete H addict too but I think most of us here want the experience for you to be memorable in a good way. If you get what I mean.
I think most active users here are not aware that at one point a whole lot of SAs were let go and their clients lost their relationships and were ghosted completely. I think you can guess how this happened. Let's not have that repeated again.
I do shop in other stores where my client history is much shorter than with Paris and yet there the gifts of snacks are taken in a different spirit, given only at holidays and for the whole team to share. This is a practice I am happy to continue, with those whom I have developed rapport, not just SAs but also people around me such as our driver, cleaners, hairdressers, tailors etc. I honestly do not think any of this gifting would really translate into a quota bag in better colours, even in Singapore. I don't think your SM would allocate bags this way, so just count it as you having a good and hardworking SA and lots of luck. Keep us updated!

I am going to be travelling to Berlin, Munich, Strasbourg average 2-3 days each with the last 5 days in Paris.

Should I start buying the items in my Shopping list from Hermes Berlin or wait until we are in Paris so that the purchase history can improve my chances of securing a leather appointment?

This is my third time in Paris and will be doing some shopping, enjoying the food plus sightseeing for my 50th birthday.

Thank you in advance.

No one can tell if purchase history helps you getting an appointment for a bag.
That being said if you have a shopping list and because stock is very low in Paris, I would advise you to purchase the things you like where it’s available +who knows maybe you can be offered a b/k/c in Germany or Strasbourg!

First off, happy birthday in advance and have a wonderful trip! Try to savor the trip as much as possible :)
Since stocks seem to be all over the place, I'd buy what you like when you see it. If you find it in Germany, get it there. Also won't hurt to hint at anything else you may want in terms of bags. At the same time, keep applying for appointments in Paris as well and if you get it, great! If not, then you won't have missed out on other items you wanted.

Hi Everyone,
So lovely to have so many supportive comments from this wonderful family of Hermes lovers.

Dream came through for me on a Saturday.
I was skeptical when I got the appointment for a Saturday and at 3:30pm……arrrrr
But after trying to get an appointment since late 2021....I was not going to waste this appointment.

I wore my black dress with Constance belt (no bag as I was in high hopes of getting a bag..and we all know how gigantic their paper bag is haha. so, I don't want to carry 2 bags home.

The appointment was for 3:30pm, but postponed to 4:20pm....which I thought would be too late to get anything special..
But after a little small talk and she got a sense of what I am looking for, she went away for what felt like hours haha. but She came back with a box and said the magical words of 'follow me, madam'.....arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
In the upstairs little room, She slowly pulled out my 28 Sellier Kelly in Black Epsom and gold hardware (yes, MINE!!!!) which I am totally in love with. I was going to purchase a colorful strap to go with it (so that I can use it cross body when I take my daughter to school) but they did not have the color I was looking for as they only have 1 in orange color which makes a black bag looks a little Halloween in my opinion as it was really orangy.

But I am sooooo happy especially when it was a Saturday late afternoon and I still got this beauty. Stock was low on the SLG I was looking for and only 1 bag was offered. It is the top of my list which made me smile the whole appointment until my lips were sore.

FINALLY, after few months of trying to get an appointment. I wanted to sincerely thank everyone for your emotional support through this journey. The appointment system here is so much harder than in North America when purchases counts and I can now rest for a while and not register until close to my next special occasion later this year (18 year Anniversary with Hubby).

Here is a photo I took in the small room as I told her that I want to capture the moment, I will post more photos when I start using it.
 Still smiling and will get a cake for the celebration with my daughter and husband tomorrow.

Big lurker on this thread, and I just wanted to say congratulations!!! Have been reading for months about your disappointing attempts at securing an appointment, and I’m so happy that things finally worked out! Enjoy your stunning new bag!

May I respectfully say that my FSH SAs have advised against gifts of any kind especially from a brand new client. It reflects badly on them to accept and on you for offering, even though they are fully aware that there are differences across their international clientele and how gifting is viewed in their culture. I have been trusted enough to have this information shared with me and I think it would be prudent to follow it. They discourage food gifts even from longstanding clients. All this is not going to magically result in the appointment / bag you want anyway. Repay any kindness from your SAs by only buying what you honestly want, declining offers you do not want and never flipping any bags they offered you. Good luck!

This is precisely on point. ❤️

Hi all! Seeking your advice on the appointment system. I'm reaching Paris tomorrow morning and I would like to score my first B/K/C there. I'm new to this Hermes journey and I probably only have a record of a Pop H necklace from Paris a few years. Should I try making appointments at only FSH or should I just choose any of the three stores? I'm really hoping to get the neutral colours.
