here is my story,

I met an SA a couple years ago, and we have sometime exchange of email etc,, during the pandemic. Long story short I told her that finally I'm coming to Paris with these dates and so....Dropped off my luggage and freshen up a little bit and went straight to FSH, plan to say HI to my SA and look around,I'm just wearing Jeans and OZ mule.

I asked the Lady by the door if my SA is working, and I was told to sit and wait, my eyes got big looking at the bags on display, all that you can imagine was out there .. felt like I'm in Disneyland ....

Finally my SA came we hugs, chatted a little bit , I started looking at the scarves, twillies, grabbed the twillies that I want, she showed me the new collections.. asked about shoes, oran etc.... stocks are quite low in shoes so there's nothing to buy that much.

I told my SA I think that's it for today.. mostly on my wishlist, and ready to pay.. Then.... she popped the question, So, what bag are you looking for????? In my mind like WWWHHAAATTT???? .... wait.. wait....I'm not even ready yet ... but my dream is B25 I told her , she said what color? to be honest I didn't even remember what colors I told her, and I only want a gold hardware, then she looked on her phone and starting to tell me the colors that is available in gold hardware.. and she also said If no Birkin do you like K25?? I said YES of course... same specs, only gold hardware.........

SA asked me which one do you really like B25 or K25?? I said B25 is my dream..... then she went downstairs..... my Heart started to beat so fast I can feel it in my throat ... I wasn't offer a drink as I remember..

After a long wait, SA came in with a smile and got all the items that I'm going to buy that was on the chair beside me and said, please follow me.....

There's a box sitting inside the private room and said , I got your first choice of color, I started jumping up and down , and reveal B25 gold hardware , togo leather.

I was so happy and thanked her , It was my one of the best experience ever..... View attachment 5393181

sorry for the bad picture I was so happy ,I even forgot to take picture
Love your story and congrats on your dream bag! May I ask which store it was? I guess it's not FSH as the SA was showing you around various departments. Thx

Hi!! just got back home from an amazing paris trip and wanted to share my experience!! long post ahead!

Both husband and i applied everyday for an appt using the online system from saturday onwards and finally got a confirmation for friday morning at FSH at opening time!! i was naturally freaking out lol

on the morning of, there were already two queues outside the store - one for walk in shoppers and one for appointment holders. once the store opened we all filed in and made our way to the appointment area where you were assigned randomly to SAs standing by. My SA was very nice and polite, though not overly friendly or talkative. That combined with my nervousness made me forget to try to engage her in a little small talk LOL

she asked straight away what i was looking for (K25 in neutrals, but open to a pop of color). she also asked if this was my first H bag (quota or non quota) and if husband and i were celebrating anything special (it was our honeymoon!). she then offered us some drinks and went off to the magical stockrooms. we waited for about 15-20 mins maybe? she then asked us to follow her!!

when we got to a private part of the store, she explained right away that they didn't receive any shipments of K or B that day or last night, but she still found something just as special. as many have speculated in prior pages, i'm not sure how true that is as i saw another SA walk by with 3 huge orange boxes to show her own client lol

the sinking feeling quickly went away however when she pulled out a gold on gold MINI LINDY!! said yes right away

overall i had a super positive experience! i do believe engaging in some small talk with your SA only helps your case and the fact that i had said i didn't own any H bags prior to this played a small factor since i definitely did see quota bags being offered to others. no matter, the appt was a success and love my new mini lindy girl!!

Hi all! i'm planning my trip to Paris in mid June and am going to visit all 3 stores, but have a question...for those who shopped at FSH, was it annoying to keep getting passed off to different SAs per department?
Coming from NYC, my SA can go anywhere with me in the store, which I understand only Sevrés SAs can do in Paris. Just wondering if it makes more sense to start there and go to FSH just to enjoy/browse and fill in if things are unavailable at Sevres?

any POVs most appreciated - thank you!

When I went September of last year to FSH, the SA in the scarf/silk department also helped us with accessories, belts and fragrances. At Georve V, the same SA assisted across departments. Not sure if it was because it was less crowded before everything opened up. May be start at FSH since they should have more inventory and meander to Sevres to complement your H bounty

thank you very much! This is helpful for planning my H “supermarket sweep”
:P
and also balance my boyfriend’s threshold to endure my need to see all 3 stores

The SA did an admirable job of bringing you a bag that will always remind you of your honeymoon. I think small talk is a personal thing. The first time I met my SA she was chatty.

The second time she was rushed. She did not like taking elevators but I have some problems with depth perception (especially going downstairs). It's ok if the stairs are big but smaller curved staircases make me pause before every step. (At the Louvre I had difficulty taking the escalator -- it was kinda fast for me -- only b/c of my vision situation).

I had to rush selecting things. Don't like that. I can be a walk-in and buy from one department then another, I think. that might work better.

at my FSH appt this year , my SA offered me my K25 and also helped with RTW the next day. She gave me her card and said she could help in all categories throughout when I am next in Paris. She’s not a leather specialist.

Does it matter what time of day you sign up for the appointments? Does it matter if it's close to when the list opens?
Just curious.. I've been making requests a few days before I arrive, anticipating not getting them for a few attempts haha. I'm going for our anniversary trip and hope it can happen this time! I wasn't able to get a bag in August despite getting an appt at FSH. :/

thank you! I am going to start there based on feedback from folks here and my intuition that visiting FSH may be more pleasant on a weekday than a weekend (I land on a Friday AM).

it has been super fun to read about everyone’s experiences with the bag appointment but as a man who doesn’t love how K/B look on me, I’m just excited to see the stores and snag things my SA won’t be able to

I know some have talked about a possible advantage to getting an appointment and bag if you have a purchase history at the 3 Paris stores, but I wonder if it makes a difference if you have a purchase history at other stores in Europe? Anyone know? I live in SF, traveling to Italy in June before my big trip to Paris in Sept. I wonder if there is any advantage to buying in Italy so that I establish a European profile? Or do purchases outside of Paris not matter whether European or not?

I have a pretty good purchase history in London and last time I was at FSH they had no access to see anything outside of their own country, that was August. But an SA in London recently mentioned they might make their database more universal soon.. I hope!

- I have purchase history in George V and FSH
- I have a profile FFM. Milano and Amsterdam besides the one for Paris
--> They all can't see the other profile, so e.g. the one from Frankfurt can only be seen in Germany but not in France or Netherlands...

I did not get apps in Paris.
So sorry to say, that probably won't help you. Enjoy the experience though, there are some beautiful stores over here in Europe :)
