Is it possible that it’s not strict lottery and your prior appt a few months back counts against your chances for a while? @thesuperficial menrioned algorithm. In my appt I spoke English; they forgot about us (stuck us in a corner, no espresso or cookies; and I lucked out anyway. It did seem like they are Not all that organized re inventory as the SA had to run up and down to hunt for things in person. DH believes that the first offer you get is the best one they will give you, this was true in my case K25.

if the appointment was under her friend's name/phone number, it would not count as her appointment.

Well, I would understand if I have appointments prior to the 170ish online registration (started Oct 2021)...however, I never had any appointment before that as I moved to Paris in Oct 2021...So, the last appointment I got was from a few years ago when I came to Paris on a vacation..
So, since my birthday is coming up in May, if for some unknown reason H-fairy hates me hee hee....I will just have to use the $ on another brand. :-) I shall not hold my breath for them hee hee.
p.s. You are right about the 1st offer being the best. A few years ago, the 1st bag (Birkin in Etain) ended up mine as the other choices she offered in that appointment a few years ago ended up being too flashy for my taste.

Don’t give up! An appointment will come your way soon. You can also just go in and try your luck though with Fashion Week now it’s not the best time. Also, funnily enough my second offers have always been the best!

I think you should go in person and tell them that you have applied so many times. I’ve read so many success stories about people who went in after 100 appts to finally get an appt. Fingers crossed for you!

Update! Made more than 25 requests online now and still didnt get one successful appointment.
Went to Sevres and was fortunate to bump into a SA I once purchased from some years ago. We had small talks and based on what she said, with the new system, they are not allowed to sell a handbag without an appointment and they are also not allowed to make appointment for the walk-in clients, there can be exceptions but having to do so (too often) will put them into trouble.
Moved on to FSH, crowded as usual. Since today is my last day in Paris I literally tried every ways to get an appointment (how desperate). Asked the hostess for cancellations she said No. Went to the SLG department, bought some items, asked for help on appointment cancellations, same No. Went to the Shoes departments, bought something again, asked for help again, and the same No again. Well at least I tried.
I just can’t emphasise how difficult it is to just score an appointment now (not even saying scoring a handbag!). At this rate, I might as well buy from a reseller to avoid all the hassles and disappointments. It’s a shame tho, all my Hermes bags were offered from store but with the new system it just seem impossible.
PS: I do have a good purchase history in Paris and I’ve been a customer for more than 7-8 years. If only the appointment is allocated based on the “loyalty” to brand than randomised.
