Hi ladies - if you are making the appointment from the US, can you try and make the appointment such that if you do get it, you can fly from the US to Paris the following week? Or is the appointment for next day only? Are you allowed to change day/time? Thank you

Next day only. And you have no control over the appointment time that day either. I guess if you really wanted to try this, your best bet would be to put your name in every Saturday for a Monday appointment so you’d have an extra day to fly there.

Finally this came home with me from the Sèvres store.

I have a bit of pre- spend at all three stores in Paris.
Brief overview of my visit.
Monday - had an appointment at the FSH store booked through my hotel but was offered a black 24/24 which I humbly declined. Tried the Sèvres store same day was told to try online- didn‘t bother.
Tuesday evening, I reluctantly applied for an appointment I wasn’t optimistic had get one. That night(8:15pm) got an email/ text for appointment for 2pm next day.

Wednesday morning got a message an SA was ready for me at 10:48am unfortunately I couldn’t get there at that time. Got there 2pm unfortunately no bags. The lovely SA that attended to me advised I try again the next morning- I might be lucky.

Thursday morning I was fourth on the line before the opening hour- got an appointment, met another lovely SA - told her what I bag I wanted and after a couple of minutes asked me to follow her into a room and was presented with this beautiful piece.

Got a couple of other things to compliment my beautiful bag- needless to say I left a very happy and content woman.
Hi, can you tell me what time you waited on line? I didn’t know. They give. Appointments if you wait on line. Thank you!

Hi, I'm almost there!!! almost 200 online appointments requests with no appointments LOL.
it is now 172 appointment requests in total (both my husband and I combined with 2 phone numbers).
I wonder if I will get a Guinness World Record of no appointments when I reach 200 trials? :-P

I'm confused, I thought you had an appointment last month?

Hello Madamelizaking,
Last month was my friend, Holly's appointment (I tagged along, so, if I found anything I like, she would need to be the one who pays for it and I pay her back LOL...but that tagged-along appointment was not a success, Holly and I both did not get anything as they only have a few bags to choose from and none were on our lists).
My husband and I have not secured even 1 single appointment since Oct 2021...

Little update on my Hermes bag quest : I went to the FSH boutique earlier today with my husband (he's Parisian, so we thought we could create a "wishlist" for him for a Mini Kelly) - there we've been told that you also need to have an appointment to register for a wishlist in Paris.
Our next stop was the Georges V boutique (to double check the information ;) ), and there the manager told us that they don't do "wishlists" at the Parisian boutique at all - not even for locals.
So I guess we'll continue applying for the lottery appointment thing ;)

and here I thought I was unlucky. I’ve probably submitted more than 30 applications. Still no luck. Just curious were your appointment request consecutive? I read somewhere in this forum that the algorithm has a weightage for consecutive appointments. I would think by your 100th application you should be secure an appointment.

I read everywhere that the person who has the appointment has to pay for things he/she buys. So if the appointment is in my name and my husband is with me, he cannot pay ? I don't understand what's the matter who is paying as long as it is paid. Sorry if this is obvious.

He can pay! They don’t care who paid, my mom and me were shopping and she got a bag but I paid

I was not aware of that...so, I simply register with mine and my husband's cellphone every single day...I even opened up for 'any store'...but still no appointment..
p.s. The 170ish appointment is between 2 phones.. so 80ish per phone.

It's to prevent professional line holders and appointment scalpers from making a buck out of this circus.
