Finally this came home with me from the Sèvres store.

I have a bit of pre- spend at all three stores in Paris.
Brief overview of my visit.
Monday - had an appointment at the FSH store booked through my hotel but was offered a black 24/24 which I humbly declined. Tried the Sèvres store same day was told to try online- didn‘t bother.
Tuesday evening, I reluctantly applied for an appointment I wasn’t optimistic had get one. That night(8:15pm) got an email/ text for appointment for 2pm next day.

Wednesday morning got a message an SA was ready for me at 10:48am unfortunately I couldn’t get there at that time. Got there 2pm unfortunately no bags. The lovely SA that attended to me advised I try again the next morning- I might be lucky.

Thursday morning I was fourth on the line before the opening hour- got an appointment, met another lovely SA - told her what I bag I wanted and after a couple of minutes asked me to follow her into a room and was presented with this beautiful piece.

Got a couple of other things to compliment my beautiful bag- needless to say I left a very happy and content woman.

Love the bag! Which hotel did you stay in that helped you with the appointment? And was it difficult to request for an appointment by waiting in line? Thanks!

Hello!

I was wondering if Paris does wishlists for locals like other countries?
I am from Geneva and dreaming of a Mini Kelly - the wishlist for these in Geneva is 2-3 years and my SA told me that even if you wait your chances are slim.
My husband is Parisian, with an address there, so I was wondering if he could place a wish in Georges V or Sevres (stock is certainly better than in Geneva) or if they only proceed via lottery appointments?

Would be grateful for any insights
Customers local to Paris or even those who aren’t local but who have a relationship with an SA, can have a wishlist and can contact their SA for appointments outside of the lottery system. That being said, are you ok with moving your home store to Paris and doing all of your shopping there? I’m pretty sure the SM at your boutique in Geneva would be able to see your purchases in Paris, and that may not look too good to them if you want to continue a relationship with your SA at that boutique. There is also no guarantee you would get a MK faster in Paris either. If you want to take that chance and start all over in Paris then sure go ahead otherwise I would just be patient with your home store.

Thanks. I think being at the store a day before with an online appointment had a part to play in being given a walk in appt the next day. So can’t really comment on what it would be like on other days.

Congratulations it’s beautiful. May I know which month you went and what day you were offered? I’m going to Paris to try my luck too in a few months.

Which Paris store is the second easiest to get a birkin/kelly in? Tried getting an appointment at the faubourg store heaps and still haven’t gotten one so I will try elsewhere.
also has anyone had any luck with any of the stores just walking in and asking for an appointment on the same day?
thanks

does anyone have any good input in what to wear to an Hermes appointment?
I usually dress pretty well but I feel like I should ask someone more experienced with the Paris store since French people have such strong ideas of how you should look.
please share any tips you have! shoes, clothes, hair etc. thanks so much in advance

My main store is Sèvres where I get my bag offers & other pieces. Been shopping there for nearly 3 years. I’ve walked in all sorts of outfits. As long as you are cordial, respectful, and show an appreciation for H….

I’ve also seen plenty of people in the store rocking sweats or streetwear with big orange boxes or rocking B/K/C, Picos, Evelynes etc.

Hello,

Omg!! Congrats!!! So if I understand correctly if you line up early enough you may be able to get a leather appointment even without getting an appointment online? Yay! This is what I did last year but I thought they weren’t allowing ppl to line up anymore.

Finally this came home with me from the Sèvres store.

Even if you go the same month as someone else and the same exact day at the same exact time and wave a magic wand that won’t guarantee a bag offer. None of that criteria has anything to do with increasing your chances. Just try your luck during the time you plan on visiting Paris and see what happens

Thanks - the online system is still in operation however because they sometimes do get cancellations if you go first thing in the morning when they open you could be lucky to get a walk in appointment. Am sure people lined up for various other reasons before the store opened. But I know at least four people lined up with me all came for bags.
