Hi all,

Sharing my recent FSH experience as I learned a lot through this forum (as a complete H newbie) and wanted to say thank you!

Hubby and I spent the weekend in Paris and I applied for a RDV on Thursday for a Friday appointment. Thursday evening I got a text saying my appt was confirmed for the FSH location (I honestly was not expecting to score an appointment given the all the rejections I received when we spent a week in Paris over December). For info, I had only purchased a couple pairs of shoes in December. Prior to that, I had zero purchase history in H.

I was really excited but still didn't want to get my hopes up. My appointment was for opening time so we got there 20 minutes before opening and was asked to queue in the RDV line. The store did not open until 1040ish and we were told to go upstairs. I was introduced to my SA who proceeded to seat us by one of the couches. After offering us beverages I was immediately asked what I was looking for. I told her I was interested in a B25 or B30 in my colour/leather preferences. The SA then asked if this would be my first B to which I responded yes. The SA then said she will try but stock has been very low for quota bags and given the store just opened she has no idea what shipment has come in. Judging from her response and how rushed the experience felt to this point I was not hopeful. Based on other members' posts here, I was expecting there to be an introduction and casual conversation prior to the request but we delve straight into the request.

The SA came back in 3-5 minutes and said no B's. She then asked if I was looking for anything else. I asked for a K in similar sizes to which she said if there's no B then there's no K but she will have another look and whether there was anything else I would be interested in. I then mentioned if there's no B or K I would be interested in the 2424 mini. Again, the SA left and returned shortly after. This time, she asked us to follow her.

My heart is now fluttering thinking what could it be? The SA asked us to come upstairs with her and led us to another seated area with a small orange box laying by the window. The SA said unfortunately we don't have an B's or K's but we do have this. She proceeded to open the box and uncovered an H drawstring bag. At this point, my hopes were a bit dampened but I came to Paris with little expectation for H and to get this far was already an experience. The SA then uncovered a gold 2424 mini in GHW.

My immediate reaction was because if I were to get a 2424 mini this would have been the exact combo I would've wanted. I tried on the bag and the SA showed me a few ways to wear it. I purchased the bag along with a twilly and off we went.

All in all, it was a decent experience. I did not score a B or a K and I knew right from the beginning based on my interaction with the SA but am still really happy with this new addition. Thanks for reading and good luck to those who are off to Paris

And it is always better to have back up choices as B/K is so hard to get. Congratulation, the color combo is beautiful. I have that on my wish list as well.

Its funny when SA’s mentions the low stock, yet another blogger was just offered a quota bag in a paris store with no appointment and while she just got a bag a month ago. Her experience was that she went to store and bought 3 pair of sandals, and asked for a non quota bag (constance) because she just got a kelly. The Sa then offered her birkin 24 sellier in nata, without her even asking for it.
I’m not sure if hermes not want this type of social media attention or if the SA was just a fan of this blogger.

And also, for whoever needs to hear this: social media is not (even by a 1000-foot pole) real life.

Low stock does not mean “there is none for you”. It means “there is a low probability that we have what you want” or “there is nothing right now when I’m looking at stock.”

I think she has a regular sa at that store or at least has shopped with that store for awhile.

I will never believe that there is not 1 Birkin or Kelly in Paris FSH at any given moment. I will have to be really gullible to believe that the H headquarters..with multiple floors and lots of space..and a huge building..has no B/K at any given moment. Of course there is always something available there..but it is only available to their "chosen person". My experience has taught me that pre-spend is only secondary..the "connection and rapport" is first. Because the demand is way more than the supply, H is able to dictate who they sell it to.

I told her that we’ve been trying to make the appointment but got rejected and we are leaving Paris tomorrow. She then asked my name and she said “Can you come back at 330pm?” At that point I was about to jumped up with joy! Lol I said absolutely! We will be back. I asked her name and we left the store.
We came back on the dot at 330p. She remembered us and said please follow me. She took me upstairs and seated up by the table window, offered us drinks/coffee then said the SA will be with you shortly. 5 mins passed, the SA came and sat at the table and immediately asked me what I was looking for. I told her that I want K28 Sellier. She took the note down and asked me what else I said if no K, B30. She said, “let me see what I can find you.”

About to 10 mins passed, she walked back with the orange box, my heart was pounding and I squeezed my DH’s hand so hard that he was laughing. Then she broke the news. “Unfortunately, our stocks are really low and the specs that you want I don’t really have anything. BUT I HAVE THIS FOR YOU”

I think she could tell that I was a bit disappointed then she said “it’s a Constance 24 gold in GHW would you like to see it?”
From almost pouting face (under my mask) my eyes lid up like a kid in candy store. Lol I said “yes please!”

She told me to follow her upstairs, I gladly did. Once I sat down, she opened the box and slowly showing me the gorgeous C24. At that point my DH was like “ I know you want the Kelly but this one is so you. Just get it!” Lol the SA was laughing and I literally was overjoyed and gladly accepted.
Yes I had a high hope to get the K instead of B but C24 was just perfect too!
