I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

Normally they arrange a visit to the garden in advance because they want you to see it at it's best, mostly from late Spring to late Autumn. I am told there really isn't much to see in winter, as expected. The Hermes family use it privately especially during summer days, so they prefer to make sure visits do not clash to disturb them. The dining room is also used for VVIP client lunches/ dinners. We have been super fortunate to have visited on arranged visits as well as last minute, on the whim of my CDC.

Hi everyone, happy weekend!

Now that France is welcoming UK travellers again hubby and I are hoping to try and get an appointment in Paris. I wanted to see if anyone had any luck lately? Thinking of going for the weekend late January or early February. Thanks!

I think stock is still low for normal people. Yes they definitely always have bags in the back but if you're not a VVIP/Insta famous (I'm definitely not!) then you're better off waiting for stock to increase to improve your chances. I think Feb-March might be better than Jan based on the tiny number of people who seem to be scoring at the moment

I think stock is low during fashion week too. Maybe wait until after. I don’t know. It’s hard to tell with H.

Congrats on such wonderful experiences (especially that the SA at Sèvres brought out so many options for your consideration) and gorgeous bags!
Such brilliant blues, both of them, such saturated colors, OMG, you did good, @pinkbunny137. Total congrats.

So Sevres is your home store when you are in Paris? How did you come to choose Sevres over FSH?

I’m going to Paris next weekend and plan to apply for an appointment. Has anyone got an appointment recently? How’s the success rate?
And I have 2 phone numbers, can I submit 2 application using my different numbers (I plan to use my passport no and residence number for the different application)
Thanks!

Hello,

I would love to buy a Birkin. Do you think your SA would help? Is it possible to send her contacts in a PM?

Thank you!
Hi @schmetterling44 - Asking specific TPFers for their SA information potential inhibits the objective of these forums. Sharing insights, receiving guidance, etc is such a benefit to many of us in this community. A lot of people want a Kelly/Birkin, and if we target specific TPFers for their SA information would flood this thread with requests and dilute the quality engagement. Just my 2 cents. Also a point to note - just because someone provides you their SA details, does not mean you’ll have the same type of connection and get what you want.

Thank you ! I have received numerous requests for my SA’s contact details in private message and I’ve always told them that even if I gave them her details she wouldn’t answer + it may also compromise my relationship.
what I noted is that it’s coming a lot from people who (i) are new to hermes or (ii) to this forum

Absolutely. I’m sure the request wasn't thought through thoroughly and maybe new to this forum. The request puts you in a difficult position to respond, which isn’t fair. Most importantly, why would you want to potentially compromise your relationship with your SA after fostering it for Xx amount of time / money? And for a person you do not know? Um … NO.

I’ve tried for a close friend of mine and my SA said no. The only one I could introduce to her was my mom and it was like a huge favor.

Absolutely tracking everyone’s comments on not handing out SA details to strangers or even only acquaintances. However, I am a little surprised they wouldn’t want some good customers to send them also great customers. Logic being, hopefully, their client would be selective and thoughtful about anyone they would send to their SA, but also theoretically those people are friends and could guess at them hitting it off. Also recommends someone as being a serious shopper etc…. Not saying it should be an everyday practice, but in many businesses, one good client sending you another good client is usually a good thing.

It’s interesting that introducing someone like one’s mother would be treated as a favour to you rather than a favour to them.

Ah the l curious world of H. :)

my guess is that FSH, Hawaii and Vegas are some of the only places where you don’t need to have a purchase history to buy a b or k.
FSH SA are not paid on their personal sales that’s why they’re not looking to build a relationship with someone they may see only once in their life. B and k sell by themselves. If it’s not you it’s going to go to someone else.

People think that being introduced to an SA may have them skip the online appointment system in Paris ?

Vegas and Hawaii require relationships as well. Paris is the only place where they won’t look at you crazy for walking in and asking for a Birkin.
