We arrived in Paris and as I did not get an appointment at FSH, I decided to try the other stores . And was lucky to get a B 25 sellier epsom in etain ..Will explain all the details later.
.it is strange.. as I feel bad toward my amazing local SA
Now my question is can I still apply for FSH appointment? And if yes can I still ask for a birkin or kelly? No prior quota bag purchase in France.
If not can I ask for non quota bags? Constance, kelly pochette, picotin?...

I am planning to visit Paris in September, and this is my first time to shop in FSH store. I don’t have a purchase history in Paris. If i get an appointment, how are my chances of getting a kelly 25 in croco leather? Is it very impossible to get ? Is it better if I buy things before i request the bag ? Thank you so much

I am no expert here, in particular about croco bags.
But just wanted to tell you that I believe lots of things are possible and depends on so many factor.. just give it a try if this is what you want. And try the two other stores if no appointment in FSH.

Yes you can physically apply for an appointment at FSH. Unless changed due to covid, your SA at your appointment will check your French H profile and see your B25 purchase and prevent you from being offered another quota bag. Unless things have changed, FSH works on a rolling six months per quota bag so you would be ineligible again until next spring. There have been some experiences of SAs allowing additional non-quota bag purchases as well as experiences of the SA telling the customer they already got a special bag so, sorry but nothing else is available. Depends on the mood of the SA.

Your statement is true for the USA. FSH has always had their own, slightly different rules though (ie a rolling six months rather than semesters) so I'm not sure it has changed there.

i just got my first kelly today at fsh and i can confirm that they are still doing the rolling six months quota per year.

I don't think it's true about the one quota bag per 6 months because Tamara Kalinic when to FSH right before the shutdown of the stores and was offered a birkin 30 and a rare constance in suede. She took both. That was early march. She went back in june after the stores reopened and she was offered another constance in étoupe and a mini kelly in black. She took both. It could be that the SA was a fan of hers which is why she got those 4 bags in 3 months. I don't know the rules but I remember people saying that you could get 2 quota bags anytime during the year, not one per 6 months, at least in France. You can see her unboxing her 4 bags on her youtube channel.

Yes, I don't think there's an official rule. I've seen her videos, I'm guessing the SA is a big fan of hers.

All Hermes “rules” can be bent. They can always always give out exceptions.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting that exceptions aren’t possible, especially for “famous” people. Constances are not quota bags either so that’s not really relevant. All H “rules” are general policies that the store executives can choose to break should the proper circumstance (wealth, fame, buying a $100k leather RTW jacket, etc) present itself. None the less, this thread is meant to prepare the expectations of a “normal person” buying H in Paris. Miracles are always a faint possibility.

I mean, that’s just not true, especially at FSH where they will sell B/Ks to people with leather appointments regardless of any other H spending. Sure, a known name or connections might help get rules bent in your favor but there are still rules/quotas/general practices relevant for the vast majority of us...
