Tried 4 times and no appointment. I have some purchase history and have been quite lucky in the past so I’m not overly depressed but still kinda sad. I went in twice and they said no. Today by chance i saw one of the SAs I worked with before but she was on the phone and i didn’t wanna barge in, followed her around the store but lost her. went to hostess to ask if i could speak with her or get an appointment. she called her but she’s busy and she asked if there was any place with another SA but all booked.

Stopped by Sevres bc i was in the area but was told an appointment is needed for any bag request or purchase (i came too late in the evening). I feel like it won’t be long till they implement online system for the other stores too.

First unsuccessful Paris trip! Oh well, another excuse to return!

Hi just realized that i had signed up here years ago. I want to share my Paris trip few days ago. I tried 4 times FSH appointment and failed. The next day came to Sevre store at 10am before opened and they’re about 25 people queues. But i’ve got an appointment for that day and waited for sms. Till 2pm still got no sms and decided come to store directly, the receptionist moved up my queue number and 20mins waiting finally i met the SA, no B/K/Constance but i’ve got Bolide 31 in black clem goldhardware.A811484F-3AE9-4CB2-87AA-00FC53574E5D.jpeg

I was once offered a single-colour etoupe horseshoe K25 and I was told it's because of the permabrass hardware.
That etoupe belongs to another TPFer who as offered a horseshoe B35. Mine is a B30 in Blue Electric and I just noticed that there is a horseshoe. There is no other feature in the bag to make it a special SO. I wonder why the craftsman would choose that stamp. Anyone?

These are likely store SOs, placed by the SM using SO/ A La Carte quotas, Flagships tend to have extra. Dear @zenith yours was done with Permabrass and hence it has the Horseshoe stamp. The craftsperson just puts it when they fulfil a Special order, I doubt they get to choose arbitrarily.

Sorry to hear that. Same thing happened to me last time. You have a great attitude though! Hopefully you will have better luck on your next trip.

Just found this thread. Updating my Paris trip from this past August.

This past August, my family went on a three country trip in Europe, with Paris as the last stop.

After being warned about all the craziness of Hermès bag buying in Paris, I went to both Hermès stores in Vienna and Munich and were told “We have not one single bag to sell you.”

Right before we arrive at Paris, I went online and saw two Lindy 30’s available: Bleu Nuit and Vert Cypres. I hesitated for a couple of hours and the blue was gone.

I then ordered the VC to be picked up at FSH store and called to confirm I will not need an appointment.

When I went to pick it up late August afternoon, it was indeed “empty” at the store, with SAs at the ready by the door to serve customers.

The nice SA I had eventually told me the low inventory was due to the workshop closure for the entire August (note to self: never to in late August!)

I guess I could’ve used that time to ask for another purse. But that was my first H bag and I have already spent too much being in Europe for nearly two weeks.

I still don’t know if I LOVE LOVE the VC Lindy. I go through period of loving it and then bored with it.

Lesson learned though: buy online and pick up in store allows me to skip the line!
