As mentioned in previous posts, I started registering for an appointment for both DH and myself the day we flew to Paris (for the day we arrived) and was unsuccessful. That followed with another 3x failed attempts for each of us (8x total at this point).

I was already quite sure at this point that I was not going to get an appointment but kept applying anyway and it paid off. On our second last night in Paris, I received a text message and email confirming my appointment for 11:25am the next day. DH was again rejected. The text also included a link for me to track appointment time which I checked regularly from 10:30am and it kept changing, later and later until about 1:45pm. As I was just a few minutes away from FSH, my appointment time got pushed back again to 2:45 but I decided to just go and wait there.

When I got there, I checked in with the hostess and was asked to wait for an SA. I waited about 15-20 minutes then got an sms notifying me that an SA was ready to see me. She turned out to be the same lovely SA that walked by earlier while we were waiting and gave my toddler a small Hermes bag to play with.

I’ve had two unsuccessful appointments at FSH before so this time I came in without any expectations and prepared a specific list of preferences which I showed to my SA. I asked for (in order) K25 Sellier in Gris T, dark shades of blue or greys / Kelly Mini II chèvre or ostrich leather in Rose Tyrien , Bleu Saphir, Black (ghw) or Gris Agate / Constance Mini in neutral colour, blue, pink or grey.

She took a photo of my list and left for about 10 minutes or less. She came back with one box and judging from the box I knew it was possibly one of the items on my list. She then said there were more options in larger sizes but she thinks K28 or 32 will be too big for me so she didn’t bring them out. She said unfortunately Kelly mini all sold out, same for Constance mini but she had something I may like, in Rose Tyrien. As she was removing the dust bag I could see the handle in ostrich peeking out and once I tried her on, of course I said yes!

Love this thread and thought I should share my story. In August for Hubby and I’s 11 year wedding anniversary (and 20 years together) we took our first trip together to London and Paris (5 days in each city). I’ve always wanted to go to Paris so was a long awaited trip! Tried my luck with the online system and finally got lucky on my 3rd attempt for an appointment at the FSH store for approximately 5 pm on a Wednesday. (Also tried getting an appointment for hubby 4x with no luck). The day Of my appointment I checked in with hostess and was provided with a SA who stepped to the side and asked me a few direct questions about what I was looking for. I told her a B25 or B30 in gold hardware, either black or a pop of colour. And she asked if she didn’t have these, if I’d want anything else. I asked her for an 18cm Constance. She then asked my son, husband and I if we wanted to have anything to drink. She brought us some sparkling water and left. I had very little hope of getting anything I wanted because she didn’t take me upstairs or give me an opportunity to make any sort of small talk with her. She came back 20 minutes later with a couple of boxes and asked us to follow her to the back of the store. She opened up a box and pulled out a B25 Apricot with gold hardware. I couldn’t believe it! Needless to say it only took a minute for me to say yes! So here she is, my holy grail.

First time posting here
After 6 attempts, got my appointment today in the morning, asked for mini bags for mom who is already 74 but still enjoy big good health, SA asked for specific color and I said light blue which is my mom favourite color or some earth tones. She went away for like 20 min, I was looking around and saw people being offered 24/24, picotin 22 and some small bags.
Then she came back with a small box and led me to upper floor. There we walked around furniture apartment which I did spend some money the day before as I bought a cushion for my chihuahua. We chatted happily and then she put out this beauty, I was so shocked that anemone is re issued again and she said there is no mini kelly but k25 for my mom and I definitely should use it too. I m over the moon.

I asked her at the end while choosing scarves and twilly whether it would be ok for me to ask for her next time I visit, she said I am welcome to but unfortunately as she is a leather specialist I would need to have an appointment in order to do so. I expected as much as I am neither a VIP nor regular customer there but I am aware there are others who are not local but do have an SA at FSH that allow them to make appointments directly. I’m grateful to have been offered this beauty anyway and will try my luck again next time I am in Paris

I could not agree more! Last year my two appointments were both first week of September and absolutely no bags at all (except for the C24 ostrich on display that the SA offered me but I turned down as it was not what I was looking for). This year I had an appointment for September 14th (Saturday) and even though I scored the K25 ostrich, choices were limited and if someone was looking for non-exotic the chance of leaving without a bag is still very high.

An appointment obviously does not guarantee a bag but the possibility of getting one increases tremendously if you avoid visiting during Aug/Sept and stay in Paris at least 4-5 nights (avoiding Sunday if possible).
