First of all congratulation to your beautiful bag
@pixiesparkle Verrrryyyy happyyyy, for your patience was paid off.
I also want to share my experience from Paris last week. But before that, allow me to take you on my trip the beginning of this year.
I went to FSH for many times before, but never spent serious amount of euros. I did bought a Lindy for my mom around 2015 and that's it. Tried to get B/K but always got turned down, got offered many other Lindy instead. Not sure why, maybe they know I wasn't enthusiastic with my request.
Last February I was finally prepared for my first Hermes bag. First attempt of appointment was refused, and then the second one was approved. Dressed with simple long coat and umbrella on tow, I met this SA who was cold and very short on her words. Actually I really like this kind of people because she is just being professional, and she did not even once screened me from head to toe (*coughcough* Amsterdam/Zurich/Badenbaden). I knew I can just tell her straight what I want, Kelly size 25 or 28 in green color GHW with togo leather. She left for 20mnts then came back and took me to a room. She said "I am sorry I don't have the bag that you want"

I can still remember how I felt a little pang in my heart.
Then like a slow motion she open a dust bag and said "But I have something else that you might like..."
And it was a Kelly seller 25 in cactus with epsom PHW. My jaw dropped and said yes immediately. She was so helpful and lovely, it just that maybe her way of talking is a bit short and cold

I paid, said thank you and asked her business card.
Then I went to Paris last July (only passing by after vacation in Swiss) and wasn't successful with scoring appointment. I visit FSH bought a scarf and met that same SA by accident in the hall downstairs. She still recognised me smiled and I recall her name, we exchanged greetings, I asked if there any empty spot but it was almost impossible due to how crazy busy it is.
Now about my recent trip last monday-wednesday. I took a risk to apply earlier

maybe they will blocked me but I thought whatever, I'll never know if I never tried. I also took some measure by sending email to them explaining my failed attempt last July. For some reason after applying 2 times and got rejected, I got a reply for my email like 2 days later. Said that SA who helped me before will welcome me on my preferred day in the morning
At the day of appointment we were both very pleased to meet each other. I told her that I want max size 32, but put importance in leather this time. She took me to a beautiful room to wait (maybe other TPFer been there either). The middle of the room is full with patches of allllll Hermes leather you can imagine in the order of rainbow color. Below the patches are their leather type and color. I keep on touching feeling and checking those leathers like kindergartener.
Few minutes later she came back with a Kelly 35 Vert Amande PHW togo leather. It is a gorgeous bag. I almost took it but the leap of size from previous 25 was a big shock to me. I am not ready. With heavy heart I refuse it. Maybe one day I will regret it but... oh well...
She was even kind enough to take out some other display Kellys in different size to let me try on, so I know what I should get for next time. She also explain to me history of some Hermes famous pieces and what they stand for. I felt so bad I took her time and just bought passport cover for my husband. Gifted her bags of chocolate to enjoy with her colleagues.
I never called anyone 'my SA'. But this time I gladly and proudly called her my Sales Assistant. Am I lucky this time? Very much, even though I didn't get exactly the bag that I want, I LEARNED A LOT. I am not a VIP or a super rich person. I don't even dress up lavishly. Still, FSH treated me fairly like their any other client. If at one point I become an Hermes oriented person, all credit is due to this particular SA.
Thanks for reading and support. Hope your trip (or next trip) will be as magical.
