I arrived in Paris on Monday 12th and my sister got an appointment after trying 3 times on the website.
The store was closed on Thursday and and our appointment was on Friday at the opening. My sister gave the SA my wish list telling her that it was for my 40th birthday but the SA came back empty handed. She told us that the stock was low in August and that there were no b/k she advised to register for Saturday and try the sevres store and George V which we did and ended up with nothing.
Yesterday evening, after my 4th attempt at FSH I finally got my appointment for Saturday at 11:35 am and gave the SA my wish list

1: étoupe or étain birkin 30
2: bright blue or rose jaipur 30
3: Kelly 28

She came back 20 min later with nothing in her hands but asked us to follow her in a small room in the back of the store and I saw a big orange box.

I was offered my first choice but in size 35 and I decided it was a good size for me so I took it. She also had a kelly wallet in étoupe but I passed and bought a twilly.

I am so happy to have scored my first birkin with no past purchase history !

I want to share my experience shopping in all 3 hermes store in Paris. I am a newbie, but I know that I have to spend in order to get a bag.
Finally earning my own money, I have decided to start spending in my trip, it was 7 days total in Paris.
I have met a good SA in sevres however he/she’s not gonna be working in paris anymore. I feel like all my effort will go to waste since I feel like he is the nicest so far. I have spent in total 15,000€ and I only got offered a picotine & GP30. I am very very very disappointed and sad and upset and everything mixed into one emotion. I start questioning myself, is there something wrong with me?
I was told that August is not a good month but 15,000€? I am very torn and sad right now. I did purchase some men stuff since my relatives is getting married (i am a woman, asian. Is that one of the reasons too?) so I bought many presents for them. Can someone enlighten me on how to do better in this H game? I’ve really lost faith...

If you got 7 days in Paris why didn’t you get an appointment at FSH? I think that is the best way to get a birkin or kelly?

I’ve got several appointments at FSH too 15,000€ is including the picotine and gp. So roughly I’ve spent around 10k+++ .
I bought kwallet, men shoes, men sandals, oasis, belts. Are those considered leather items? I bought home ware and some babygifts too.

It is quite possible that if they had had something else for you they would have offered even if you had not spent that amount. The Paris 'game' is a bit different. And it is different depending on continent, country, specific shop and even SA. Maybe you want to invest in your home store.
In any event do not question yourself or your worth. Being an Asian woman has nothing to do with it as the vast majority of Hermes bags are actually sold to Asians nowadays.

I was abit traumatized too. I will be going to paris in September again. Will try my luck without purchasing anything since my fund has gone for my august trip.

I do not know for sure for spendings in Europe. In my home town bags are not counted and some of the SAs would not consider small leather goods like wallets.

I am Asian too and though I have got 2 birkin bags and 1 kelly bag in Paris before, I do feel that some of the SAs would tend to be more “strict” in offering quota bags to Asian. I think building a good account in France helps to increase your chance.

Good luck for your Sept trip. I will be visiting Paris too in end of Sept but it will be fashion week period so I am also a bit worried not able to get any appointment.

But that time i was shopping for shoes and I just randomly talked with a group of pretty ladies beside me, asking how it was, and they told me “I got this B and K yesterday. Keep shopping, they will offer you bags”.
My heart was so torn when hearing that and I really dont know how to act. I feel like the SA lied, but I was really confused. Do i keep trying? Do i stop? I ended up keep trying but still. No B or K scored

Hi! Don't be disheartened, at least your purchase record will always be in the system. It will be easier the next time you come to paris again! Ive also scored a B in January this year at the FSH store, but when I finally got the appointment last week, I was told there was nothing at all. The SA didn't even bother going down to check the stock as it was a Saturday. I wasn't sure if she was being unhelpful but I did see that no one got offered a B/K/C as well, only bolide, verrou, and one Kelly in size 35 (which I thought was too big). There wasn't even a picotin, or Lindy or whatever. I have checked out this other social media called "XiaoHongShu" its a Chinese social media to see if the Chinese people got offered anything cos usually they write about it and it has been quiet as well. I feel like no one got anything much this month. I would say august is far worse than January.

I am so sorry for you. I was in FSH last Friday (08/17) with my sister who scored an appointment but was told no b/k so I went to sevres and Georges v and got nothing too.
I was then confirmed myself for an appointment on Saturday 08/18 at 11:35 and got my birkin

You never know how the FSH is going to be. Some days people get bags other days nobody gets bags. Don’t give up.
