Congratulations! Beautiful C24!!! I scored a C24 in Paris in Dec and it became my favourite bag. So convenient and compliments nicely any outfit.

Out of curiosity, were the K28 specs you got offered? I’ve been wanting a K28 in Etain for ages!

Thank you! We are C24 cousins :)
It was a K28, retourne, Etain with pHW. It was really stunning and I was still thinking about it last night :P

My dream in life is to go to FSH and just soak everything in. Scoring a bag is a bonus but what’s most important to me is going there and seeing all that you guys see when you shop there. I just found out that May 1st is a holiday. The only day that we are going to be in Paris. This may be misplaced that I’m posting here so mods, please move or delete if necessary. I just wanna reach out to you all and maybe give me tips on how to spend the day in Paris now. Btw, I just found out because my SA said she can get me a museum tour on April 30 or May 2nd but not the 1st due to a holiday. I’m devastated!
Thx - I am in Paris at same time and did not know May 1 is a holiday. Noted this!

Hi everyone,

I've been reading about everyone's success (& non successful) stories about their visit/experiences into the Paris Hermes stores. I will be traveling to the city soon, but wanted to see if anyone could help me answer a question. Does the Hermes store deliver your purchases to your hotel? As I'm not staying in a hotel nearby, and it seems a bit scary trying to carry my purchases on the train/public transportation out to a Disneyland resort.
TIA!! [emoji4]

They deliver at central Paris hotels, not in Disneyland.
A friend of mine tried and they do not offer that service outside central Paris.

They have white bags if that helps.

Hi everyone! I've been following this thread for a while and had some successful experience with the mothership store before, and would like to share the latest experience of my DH at FSH this past weekend(apology first that the post could be a bit long):
Ever since the online lottery system for FSH started, DH and I have been trying to register every time we are in Paris. I got my appointment the first time trying (without any significant purchase history at that time) and scored a mini constance, but my husband never succeeded getting any appointment. So from that on almost all the purchase history are under my passport and nearly none under his.
Recently DH has been working in Germany and he's been trying to register for online appointment whenever he has time, and then last Friday, he finally got a confirmation for appointment on Saturday(March 16). However the appointment was at 5:20pm which was close to the end of working hour (plus they still have that protest going on around FSH). While I was still deciding if it was worth, DH bought his train ticket to Paris (almost 4 hours) and decided to take the chance.
DH arrived in Paris around mid day on Saturday and by the time he finished lunch, the appointment time didn't change at all. I told him that's a good sign cuz that meant they might still had some inventory left, and before he went in, I gave him a list of the bags/specs I wanted (I've collected some BKCs so far, and are extremely speicific about what I wanted next).
DH checked in at the leather concierge around 4:30pm (by that time his appointment moved to 5:10pm) and told the concierge that he had a train to catch at 7pm, so the leather concierge told him to wait for a min and would try to accomodate him earlier. Then after 5 mins he was called to the front and this nice lady SA showed up to him and asked him what he wanted. He told the SA that he would like to buy me a nice gift, then told the SA that Craie/Beton/Gris Tourterelle for B/K 25 (my favorite sizes and can use daily). No preference for hardware, but I've never had bag with RGHW so bags with RGHW would be interested as well. Lastly he told the SA that the bag I wanted the most was the special edition birkins that has the two stripes on the outside lining ( he didn't know the name for the bag was Birkin Officier @@@), then the SA asked him for this specific model, would I still insist on the size 25, he then said no for this special edition, I would consider both 25 and 30. The SA took down the specs and left.
DH waited for around 25mins, and by that time other people who were going at the same time were all getting SAs back already (but were only shown Roulis/Picotins, DH quietly observed hahaha). Then his SA finally came back with one large box and two small boxes, and asked DH to follow her to the menswear section. On their way the SA said, this is from your special request list. From the size of the box, DH asked if this was a Birkin 30 and SA smiled at him and said YES. DH then asked if this was the special edition with the two stripes (@@@), SA said Yes you're right! Are you ready? Then she took out the bag and my husband instantly texted me that he scored my Top One dream bag of this year! He told me he was so excited that he almost screamed out OMG, and he then understood why I'm so passionate about scoring at Hermes everytime (now he's hooked on this feeling). The SA also showed him a short wallet which he declined as I never use wallet but only card holder, and took a perfume that SA recommended.
DH was so happy that his effort of going the distance paid off in literally the best way it could, and he totally forgot to take pictures of the bag until he got back to Germany. And I really appreciate how he gets my passion with Hermes and would do his best to get it for me. It also shows that you can really still score bags on Saturday late afternoon!
Lastly, the pics DH took for the special edition Birkin Officier size 30, Blue Encre with Bordeaux stripes and inside lining — my ABSOLUTE favorite combination among the several Birkin Officiers (trying to mock what I used to do at home for all other BKCs, but his lighting is disastrous hahahaha):

What is better than your cool bag is your very sweet hubby! Congrats and hope you get to enjoy your new baby soon!

My unsuccessful experience for the records:

Applied for an online appointment for today and tomorrow. Rejected both times. Would confirm the buying history theory as I have a new citizenship + new spelling of my first name since my last purchase in France (also can't remember ever giving them my passport). And I buy online and in German (home) stores still with the old spelling...

In Sevres I got an appointment today, also had to register with name, ID number and phone. Waiting time was 1.5-2h. We went to Au bon marché in the meantime. I had a list of 5 bags in very specific colours and leathers. The male SA seemed nice, but went straight to the point so I showed him the list. He asked if I'm interested in other colours not on my list to which I replied that I don't like certain shades for the Mini Kelly and Kelly Cut, but am open to similar ones to the ones on my list and for the other bags (24/24, Jige, B25) only the one specific colour. He came back with a big box, but unfortunately nothing I wanted. I thanked him and we left for L'Orangerie (have great exhibitions right now).

All in all I'm happy I tried. Didn't lose much time as I wanted to see the Sevres store and bon marché anyway and we are mainly in Paris for food and Versailles  I'm lucky I received both FSH rejections during delicious dinners, so it was easier to deal with

Love to hear your positive attitude despite unsuccessful tries!
