Got lucky and got a c24 etoupe with ghw. Very small haul this trip...but still happy. Quite a few classic colors (black and gold) were avail in c18 as well.

Cdg however had little stock, sa said deliveries have been slow unlike previous years during this time of year.View attachment 4281091View attachment 4281092

Just returned from the FSH store with some nice loot in tow ☺️ My very first C24 in etoupe, PHW. Very happy with her and can’t wait to take her out for a spin:

Looks like it is an etoupe kind of a day ,, congrats to you both

Hello! I'm sorry for bothering, but I already checked another thread and it wasn't very helpful in finding good dining in Paris. Anyone have any recommendations? My family of 6 are leaving in one week and spending Christmas there. We are excited and thinking the quietness of the city (due to visitors cancelling their trips from protests) will work to our benefit of enjoying the uncrowded city! We heard of a restaurant in Hotel de Crillon, but not sure which one...there are 4 or 5 diff restaurants in that hotel...Thanks guys...

The gastronomic restaurant in the Crillon (l’Écrin) has one Michelin star. For other suggestions for fine dining, you could consult the Bibles of restaurant rankings, Guide Michelin or Gault & Millau. Restaurants at this level are pricey, and it is best to reserve your table in advance.
Paris is usually crowded at Christmas, demonstrations or not. Many visitors coming to shop and see the lights, both foreigners and French themselves coming from out of town.
Enjoy your trip!

For those who scored an appointment at FSH recently, may I ask how many trials before you finally got an appointment? Thank you very much and good luck for everyone!

in fall 2017 i got one on my second attempt, last month i tried 3 times and failed all. from
following this thread it seems by the fourth try people finally get one but not all. i only had 3 days so no idea if i would have been successful eventually.

Thanks a lot for your reply! It’s good to know your experience for both years too!

just curious how are the folks doing this month or end of last month since the riot. Hm...looks like the two lucky girls visited FSH in Dec. who posted here were both accepted on their second trial, not sure if that’s just a coincident. The riot might reduce the number of applications but so does the delivery I suppose...hm...esp never know the ratio of local buyers and visitors...

please be sure to double check restaurant availabilities during Xmas week as roughly 75% of restaurants in Paris worth going are closed through the 1st week of Jan. The Chowhound forum is a really good resource as well.

My BF is in Paris and was rejected yesterday. He went to FSH today inquiring about cancellations but was turned away and said that the store was incredibly busy. I arrive on Thursday, but have signed myself up for tomorrow, thinking that I’ll probably be rejected a few times (as I was when I last visited in September — 4th try was the charm). We are only staying until Friday, so I am a bit nervous.

Oh, thank you Very much for sharing, good planing! Good luck for Thursday!

It must be extremely busy this week as it’s the last working week before Christmas?
