UPDATESssss ! I appreciated everyone wishing me luck and GOOD NEWS!!!! I got a kelly 25 !!! Yeah! I am rushing to airport now and will share my story later. And yes they let me to move my appointment early after I explained that I need to catch my flight .

Miracle on the final hour

My husband and I only have three days in Paris this time and we have been denied 6 times for the online appointment at FSH store. We went to George V yesterday and it was crazily crowded. We were told the bag inventory was very low due to the store reopening and there was no kelly bag I wanted(black or neutral color,sellier style, 28cm, GHW). We were told to come back on Saturday morning to check if they have new delivery. I know there is not much chance on Saturday but still decided to try since this will be our last chance before flying back home tomorrow. This morning we were shocked to find out the metro and roads near by our hotel were closed due to the protest so we decided to walk to the George v store which is about 20 minutes walk. It turned out to be almost an hour walk due to tons of road blocks set by the police. There were tear gasses, gun shot firing sounds and tons of protesters on the way to the store. The police even told us it’s not a good idea to head to the George V direction. We still made our way to the store. Our SA checked the inventory and told us there was no delivery due to the protests which I was not surprised at all. I have a list of things to buy and the SA helped me to get all of them. While I was ready to checkout and leave, our SA told us that she was able to locate a kelly bag in Etoupe color for me since the other client decided not to buy it. Of course I took her home happily. Thanks for letting me sharing such a long story!

Thanks! Yes, I was very worried since there was no delivery service today given the protest situation plus my purchases are heavy as they contain tablewares. We tried to avoid the roads with protesters and picked the routes with a lot of polices. Fortunately we arrived our hotel safely and decided to lock ourselves in the hotel for the rest of the day : )

Do you think it could be due to your purchases on other items (tableware as you mentioned?) It’s hard to believe someone turn down this bag, and the SA only show it to you after you’ve purchased other items. It’s my first day arriving in Paris today. I was there at George V, my SA was very sure that they have nothing, she didn’t even bother checking. I also overheard other SA saying the same - no delivery since reopening, no bkc. Denied 3 times lol. Maybe my 4th or 5th try? Haha. My friend got denied and was her 2nd attempt. Seems like on avg it takes 4 tries.

Thank you! It’s hard for me to imagine someone said no to this bag as well but everybody is different. I purchased a C from the same SA last year without purchase history. Yesterday she was very busy and therefore another SA helped me to check the inventory. They both went away to check for a while and I do believe they didn’t have the bag I want as I was very specific about what I want. I did purchase a few items yesterday and today and I think scoring a bag is due to combination of luck and purchase history. It sounds like there will be more inventory next week. Thank you! It’s hard for me to imagine someone said no to this bag as well but everybody is different. I purchased a C from the same SA last year without purchase history. Yesterday she was very busy and therefore another SA helped me to check the inventory. I did purchase a few items yesterday and today and I think scoring a bag is due to combination of luck and purchase history. It sounds like there will be more inventory next week. It is not unusual to turn down a bag no matter how iconic - I was offered a BBK in a 32 in Sellier. On my 5'3 frame, I felt that it looked like a briefcase but it was someone's holy grail.
