Dear All, My first time in Paris and I thought I'd try my luck. So far I've been denied twice with DH name :(
Will try to check out the other stores mentioned above and see how it goes good luck everyone :)

I made my appointment since Monday , it is really disappointing that for 4 days both my bf and I got denied total of 8 times. I did tried both serve and George v everyday but all I get is a no or showed me something else, for every visit I bought some scarves , wallet and sandals hoping this would help but not. . .

. . .
my other thought was to buy the things i wanted at FSH and see if the person helping me would be able to help get an appointment for me but it didn’t come to that. but perhaps you have nothing left to buy. don’t buy more stuff you don’t need to try and get an appointment though. you’ll end up more bitter if you don’t get anything.

Hermes has set up an appointment system and its SAs are rightly alert to customers just making other purchases in the hope of beating the system. As Chrelyc wrote 'you'll end up more bitter if you don't get anything.' There is evidence on here that it is sometimes possible to get a walk-in appointment in the afternoon if one becomes available, but that is not something to rely upon.

Whatever you do you have to present yourself as someone with a genuine interest and knowledge of the brand.

Does anyone know if it is possible to make an appointment at FSH in advance through your local store? Thanks.
No the stores here work on its own and the appointment system is quite strict nowadays. I have my own SA in both fsh and sevres but every time I go they will instruct me to make an appointment first like any others and they will serve me later when it’s my turn. I’ve seen other SA telling their clients the same. So no I don’t think you can make an appointment from home store and even if she introduces you a SA in Paris, you still have to queue

Did anyone go to the George V re-opening on Tuesday evening?
My sister was there. She went without knowing that it was the first day of reopening. the store was crowded but there’s no b/k/c. Apparently SA told her they won’t have it for the first few days because they want to project a new image that Hermes is not just about bags but a lot other stuffs like accessories clothings and housewares :biggrin:

I meant the re-opening party in the evening. It was invitation only.
