Ok so I have been absent from this forum for a while.. But will never forget that tpf helped me in making my first FSH trip a great success and such a pleasant experience. And subsequent trips after that..

Last week I made the annual FSH visit again, and this time I wanted something a bit special. I wanted an ostrich B30. I tend to be Team K rather than Team B, but in my mind ostrich is perfect in B because you can see more hardware. And I’m partial to ghw.

So I emailed my H fairy ahead of time to secure an appointment. On the designated day, FSH was like a mad place and my fairy ended up running very very late for our appointment and I didn’t get to see her till 14 mins before closing time. She felt so bad and was very apologetic. I wanted more time to chit chat, catch up, look at other stuff etc, but no time for all that obviously.

Once I told her what I wanted, she immediately showed me RP B30 ostrich phw which was on display just next to where we were sitting. She asked me if it was ok. Hmmm.. I tend to go for neutrals so that I wouldn’t have to think too hard in matching my outfit. I told her I wasn’t sure about the colour (pretty but may not work with most of my wardrobe).

She went downstairs to look for more.. I was preparing to go for my second option which is a K28 sellier in epsom, thinking that maybe timing wasn’t right to get an ostrich.

5 minutes before closing, she reappeared and asked me to move to a different corner of the store where a big box was waiting. She said she had found something very pretty which was even nicer my what I had initially asked her (bleu de malte ostrich ghw), and very rare. It was a bleu saphir B30 ghw!!! The saturation was unbelievable. It was definitely love at first sight. She said it’s so rare that it’s the first time she had ever seen bleu saphir in an ostrich.

So here it is.. The gem of my current collection

PS: Am totally in love with this bag but my pink lover friend (who knew that I also love pinks), kept asking how could I said no to rose pourpre ostrich!! My local SA confirmed that bleu saphir ostrich is rare indeed, so I believe I made the right choice.. Do you agree, dear ladies??
Wow! Such an amazing and saturated color! Congratulations

After mapping out where the three Hermes stores, and where they are to Louis Vuitton stores, I'm not sure I can hit all three stores. My boyfriend has pretty much packed our schedule full of birthday surprises for me, leaving me only one day to shop.

Can anyone tell me if galleries layfayette or printemps has a Hermes and LV?
Or suggestions on my best options on which stores are easiest proximity to each other?
Right now I'm thinking to hit the LV Vendome, Chanel rue cambon, Hermes FSH, than maybe uber over to galleries layfayette.
