Hi everyone, new poster here! I was hesitant to share my story at first but after reading about everyone's experience, I hope that mine will help others. These events took place back in October the week after Fashion Week. Apologies for the extremely LONG post but I wanted to be as detailed as possible.

DH and I arrived in Paris on Oct 12th Thursday and we had tried for an appointment the previous day but found out we were both declined when we arrived. I figured we stop at FSH anyway since our hotel was close and see if they could squeeze me in due to cancelations. We literally dropped our bags at the hotel after a 12+ hours of travel and went straight to FSH. She lady at the counter said no appointments were available and we needed to try online. I browsed around and picked up a few twillies. I chatted with the nice SA and she tried to see if a leather associate could help me but I was again, directed to make an appointment online. *ATTEMPT #1* We left and of course tried for an appointment for the following day (Friday). We got confirmation later that I was able to secure an appointment for Friday afternoon. We did some site seeing on Friday but basically stayed close to FSH since my appointment time were shifting. When it was finally GO-TIME DH and I showed up and was asked to wait for my SA. A lovely woman met us and asked what I was looking for. I have several Bs already so I asked for a K 25/28 in neutral colors or pink and only GHW. She disappeared for about 15 mins and said sorry no stock but she had an Orange Poppy Jige, which is not what I was hopping for. I politely declined. *ATTEMPT #2* DH could see how heartbroken I was so he gave me a big hug. I think the SA felt so bad for me she said I could come again tomorrow (Saturday) and she would make an appointment for me at noon. I felt a glimmer of hope at that point and walked away only half sulking.

After that I wanted to see the Rue de Sevre store and try our luck there. We walked in the beautiful store and was able to make an appointment with the leather SA. Waited about 20-30 mins and was met by a young lady. Again, gave her the same wishlist and she warned me that my choices are what "everyone asks for". I knew at that point I was out of luck and she returned 10mins later with another Jige in Vert Titien. I politely declined and asked if I could returned tomorrow to see her again in case they received more stock. She said she was off tomorrow and referred me to her colleague. She did encourage me to purchase the Jige, saying it will "help my chances" but I just couldn't justify buying something I didn't love. *ATTEMPT #3*

The next day (Saturday) was my last chance since we were leaving Monday morning for Nice. We went straight to Rue de Sevre before they opened to try again. Met the same gentleman that we were introduced to on Friday and gave him my list. He returned shortly after and said no stock. I asked then about any C's and he went to check. I actually saw him in the back room and he was fixing his tie and chatting with other SAs the entire time! Grrrr!! So we left deflated after he returned with bad news. *ATTEMPT #4* My appointment back at FSH wasn't until noon so I dragged poor DH to George V basically out of sheer desperation. The store was small and packed with people but a nice SA approached us right away to ask if we needed assistance. My DH was so fed up at this point he blurted out "PLEASE, I need to buy her a bag!" I was so mortified but luckily she was receptive and pulled me aside to ask what I'm looking for. I gave her my list and she left for about 20mins. She came back and said she found me something she thinks I will love and pulled us into a tiny dressing room. Out she pulled a Mini Kelly 20 Rose Lipstick Chèvre with GHW!! I was SOOOO elated I gave her a big HUG!! DH was confused about the size of the bag he again blurted out "Where is the rest of the bag?!" *face palm* She was incredible lovely and kind- we checked out under my passport (did not make any other purchases) and were on our way! Whole thing took less than 30 mins. *ATTEMPT #5*

I was basically walking on air at this point and didn't even want to show for my noon appointment at FSH anymore so I could leave on a high note. DH actually encouraged me to go and try again since we already had an appointment. So we go and waited about 20mins for my previous SA. When she was ready, she asked me again for my list (which I thought was a bad sign) and left for another 25 mins. She came back with a big orange box and I must have had a look of elation on my face. She quickly ushered us upstairs probably because I was about to squeal out of excitement LOL. She said she wasn't able to find a bag in my exact specs but found me a Kelly 32 Retourne Black Togo GHW. Of course when I tried it on I fell in love instantly. We did not purchase any other items and checked out under DH's passport. *ATTEMPT #6*

So there's my story, took 6 total attempts across 3 days for my two new Kelly's and I couldn't be happier that I did it. DH is now traumatized and I don't think he will ever go back to Paris with me LOL! Here are photos of my new babies after I tore open the boxes at the hotel.

Firstly - Annabel’s what a gorgeous bag ! I was eyeing a similar one at Ann’s Fabulous Finds ...but it’s now gone...
Anyway - as promised - my story and experience at FSH ... It was mine and our family’s first ever trip to Paris and it has always been a dream of mine to visit the magnificence that is Paris...but onto the important stuff...prior to arriving in Paris I sprained my little toe in Munich and I was limping around Paris while wearing the only thing thing that I could fit my swollen toe comfortably- and that was my husband’s Havaianas ! Not the chicest way to tour Paris - but what does one do ??
We arrived in Paris , Friday January 29th in the afternoon - I had already applied for an appointment the day before - but I was unsuccessful (which I hoped I would be as we were traveling on the 29th)... and promptly reapplied for the Saturday... and I was successful for a Saturday appointment promptly for 10.30 !!
The next day we woke up nice and early and made it down the street to fsh - it was surprising to see a long line of people waiting outside (at least 20 people)-My heart sank a little thinking they had changed back to the old system ...the doors opened and everyone made a dash for the upstairs...again - I got a little panicked thinking all the said bags would have been gone and my chance with it ...as ridiculous as this sounds- but when you are there - it’s hard not to get caught up in the moment ...we lined up to show our appointment emails/texts to a lovely lady who then assigned an SA to whoever was next ...and we met with a young and lovely blonde -she put us aside and asked what me what I was looking for - I was looking for a 35cm Birkin in orange or blue- preferably with gold hardware and a sturdy leather ...she went away for a loooooong time - and of course I thought that was a good sign - she came back and regretfully told me there was nothing with those specs in the store...she was so sweet and sincere - I did not at all doubt her honesty.
She gave me her card and asked me to come back and check with her while we were still in Paris - and then let me know I could email her before we visit Paris -she told me she received over 100 emails a day !
Even though I was disappointed- I did brush it off and said “it’s just a bag - but if it’s meant to be- it will be!” I feel that way about a lot of things in life- even Hermes leather goods ! I did observe that no one was walking out with big orange boxes - but I did see a pouting wife and an annoyed husband loudly protesting it was their last day...I completely understand their frustration ...the store was super crowded and busy and we spent the rest of the morning buying gifts for family and DH went shopping .
The following Tuesday (Monday was New Year’s Day) we went to the Sevres boutique to see if they had anything - what a lovely store ! When I enquired about looking at a bag - they luckily had appointments left for that afternoon - when it was my turn - (the SA was the first I had seen looking harried and clearly frustrated) - she made it clear from the first moment- “we have no more b/k/c”...but surprisingly I wasn’t disappointed...
on our way back to our hotel - we noticed FSH was still open - and we decided to see if our SA from my appointment with available - but no luck- it was super crowded ...so with another shrug of our shoulders we left .
While this was going on- my husband kept on getting rejected for an appointment. On Wednesday night my husband suggested - why not pop in and ask ? Our hotel was literally a minute away - and we were flying out Thursday afternoon ...so we popped in and for the first time it was very calm...lovely...we enquired at the desk and let them know I had an appointment the previous Saturday morning (showed them my email) and our SA suggested we pop in - was it possible to speak to someone ? Yes- of course madame !
We were asked to wait and we were approached by a lovely SA who took us to a back room and asked what we were looking for- we made some small talk - she remarked she’d visited our home town (we haven’t lived there in 15 years) and mentioned she had her purse snatched there (uh-oh!) ...and then we got down to business - She went away and gave me 3 options : a 35 Black Kelly (I have one) and 2 35 Birkins- one in cuivre and the other in a printed canvas ...she told me she could show me both - and showed me a picture of the printed canvas- it had chains on it- something I’m sure I would have preferred in a kelly ...I told her I’d Like to have a look at the cuivre first and if it’s possible to see the printed canvas if the cuivre didn’t work out ...so she then showed us to the leather room that was behind us - and proceeded to unpack the cuivre and explaining it’s palladium ...oh no ...I had my heart set on gold hardware-but I thought - let me see how I respond - and she took it carefully out of the box - wowza ! it ! The cuivre is a warm copper that is a cross between potiron and gold - I asked to try it - and it just ...looked and felt right- it is a much more casual bag than my rouge grenat GHW 35B- with a completely different feel and vibe- so with a huge grin I literally pounced on it and almost embraced everyone as we were leaving FSH - it was so nice to have everyone so happy for me (at least I thought they were - I was pretty euphoric !)
The leather is a new one called Novillo - it is a cross between swift and Togo ...it is so much lighter than my Togo 35B .
As we left fsh - we checked our emails and my husband received a confirmation for the following day at 1!! We went back to fsh the next day and told them we weren’t going to make it and to give the appointment to another (hopefully) lucky person !
I promise I will post some action shots soon- but our 40 foot container was delivered and I’m busy organizing the house - but I wanted to at least share my story with you all - as wonderful as the photos are - I think the stories are just as great - I have fervently been following your stories for a few months and cheered you on when one is touched by the H fairy and felt your heartache when you’ve left fsh without your dream bag - thank goodness for all you lovelies here on the forum ...thank you!

This is a wonderful story with a fantastic outcome. How were you so clever to ask for an appointment and hope to be rejected for that first day? Maybe because you had never been to FSH and had no history? There seems to be no rythme or reason to be rejected for an appointment for the first day you are trying. But it did work for you. Congratulations.

I bought a Kelly 28 retourne togo for €7050 last month.

Hi everyone, new poster here! I was hesitant to share my story at first but after reading about everyone's experience, I hope that mine will help others. These events took place back in October the week after Fashion Week. Apologies for the extremely LONG post but I wanted to be as detailed as possible.

DH and I arrived in Paris on Oct 12th Thursday and we had tried for an appointment the previous day but found out we were both declined when we arrived. I figured we stop at FSH anyway since our hotel was close and see if they could squeeze me in due to cancelations. We literally dropped our bags at the hotel after a 12+ hours of travel and went straight to FSH. She lady at the counter said no appointments were available and we needed to try online. I browsed around and picked up a few twillies. I chatted with the nice SA and she tried to see if a leather associate could help me but I was again, directed to make an appointment online. *ATTEMPT #1* We left and of course tried for an appointment for the following day (Friday). We got confirmation later that I was able to secure an appointment for Friday afternoon. We did some site seeing on Friday but basically stayed close to FSH since my appointment time were shifting. When it was finally GO-TIME DH and I showed up and was asked to wait for my SA. A lovely woman met us and asked what I was looking for. I have several Bs already so I asked for a K 25/28 in neutral colors or pink and only GHW. She disappeared for about 15 mins and said sorry no stock but she had an Orange Poppy Jige, which is not what I was hopping for. I politely declined. *ATTEMPT #2* DH could see how heartbroken I was so he gave me a big hug. I think the SA felt so bad for me she said I could come again tomorrow (Saturday) and she would make an appointment for me at noon. I felt a glimmer of hope at that point and walked away only half sulking.

After that I wanted to see the Rue de Sevre store and try our luck there. We walked in the beautiful store and was able to make an appointment with the leather SA. Waited about 20-30 mins and was met by a young lady. Again, gave her the same wishlist and she warned me that my choices are what "everyone asks for". I knew at that point I was out of luck and she returned 10mins later with another Jige in Vert Titien. I politely declined and asked if I could returned tomorrow to see her again in case they received more stock. She said she was off tomorrow and referred me to her colleague. She did encourage me to purchase the Jige, saying it will "help my chances" but I just couldn't justify buying something I didn't love. *ATTEMPT #3*

The next day (Saturday) was my last chance since we were leaving Monday morning for Nice. We went straight to Rue de Sevre before they opened to try again. Met the same gentleman that we were introduced to on Friday and gave him my list. He returned shortly after and said no stock. I asked then about any C's and he went to check. I actually saw him in the back room and he was fixing his tie and chatting with other SAs the entire time! Grrrr!! So we left deflated after he returned with bad news. *ATTEMPT #4* My appointment back at FSH wasn't until noon so I dragged poor DH to George V basically out of sheer desperation. The store was small and packed with people but a nice SA approached us right away to ask if we needed assistance. My DH was so fed up at this point he blurted out "PLEASE, I need to buy her a bag!" I was so mortified but luckily she was receptive and pulled me aside to ask what I'm looking for. I gave her my list and she left for about 20mins. She came back and said she found me something she thinks I will love and pulled us into a tiny dressing room. Out she pulled a Mini Kelly 20 Rose Lipstick Chèvre with GHW!! I was SOOOO elated I gave her a big HUG!! DH was confused about the size of the bag he again blurted out "Where is the rest of the bag?!" *face palm* She was incredible lovely and kind- we checked out under my passport (did not make any other purchases) and were on our way! Whole thing took less than 30 mins. *ATTEMPT #5*

I was basically walking on air at this point and didn't even want to show for my noon appointment at FSH anymore so I could leave on a high note. DH actually encouraged me to go and try again since we already had an appointment. So we go and waited about 20mins for my previous SA. When she was ready, she asked me again for my list (which I thought was a bad sign) and left for another 25 mins. She came back with a big orange box and I must have had a look of elation on my face. She quickly ushered us upstairs probably because I was about to squeal out of excitement LOL. She said she wasn't able to find a bag in my exact specs but found me a Kelly 32 Retourne Black Togo GHW. Of course when I tried it on I fell in love instantly. We did not purchase any other items and checked out under DH's passport. *ATTEMPT #6*

So there's my story, took 6 total attempts across 3 days for my two new Kelly's and I couldn't be happier that I did it. DH is now traumatized and I don't think he will ever go back to Paris with me LOL! Here are photos of my new babies after I tore open the boxes at the hotel.

Bought a small coin case/ shoes/ bracelets and found there's several birkin being showed around.
The super nice SA asked bag section for me but Saturday was really busy for them, so there's no chance to ask about the bags.
Went to GeorgeV store afterwards and bought a super cute kelly short wallet verso which I love the color combination.
I have never seen a short kelly wallet before, the SA said they only receive like 10pcs in a year (which I do not know it is true or not lol)

And I went to Sevre and bought some Petit H item, and found a rodeo MM which was a nice surprise.
Later that night I got the Monday appointment confirmed text. (FINALLY!!)
So I had a lunch nearby and kept checking the time, and it went from 14:00 to 13:00 and before my meal arrived it showed "Your sales associate is now available to meet you". I thought it was a bad sign that the appointment changed that fast, maybe there's no shipment at all...
I ate my meal like super super fast and ran to FSH, the reception lady at bag section said she will reschedule me but turn out a male SA is available right away.
He asked my preferences, I let him know my collection so far, and my target this time was black or dark blue in B30/K28/K32 GHW and epsom leather. My mom wanted a lindy 30 as well.
Then he went to checked the stock and came back asking us to follow him to third floor (which I did not know they let people go up to 3rd floor lol)
The room was so big and there's a two big boxes on the table.
He slowly opened the box, and it was a blue izmir B30 GHW in epsom. I was not sure if the color suits me, and my friend sitting beside me said if I did not really like the color then I should not buy it.
The other box was lindy 30 in S5, which I thought my mom would love so I decided right away.
After a long struggle inside my brain, I asked if he can check again the stock.
He pulled out a phone and talked for sometime and said he will be back but he cannot promise anything.
Later he came back with a box which I hope it was a good sign.
And inside was my holy grail B30 in black epsom with GHW.
I thought I nearly cried when I saw the bag, it's so perfect and fit my dream list right on the spot.
I am so sorry for the bad photo below because I do not have time to make a proper one yet. ( guess I am just too excited to share with you guys)
