I literally just went to the cash desk and said i'd changed my mind. My bf had already said he would take his :) i just said b30 or k28 in neutral or pink with silver hardware nothing gold

As we waited we found that alot of the people at the front had saved space for their friends as well so even more joined. By the time it came to opening i'd say there were now 30 people in front of us. The side door queue came all the way to the start of the main door queue pretty much. Doors opened and we were directed to the line for appointments. We waited about 10 minutes in this line. We noticed they only let a certain amount of people in at one time. And they opened the main doors first. I'd say we were about 50 people back by now. We got to the hostess and made our appt, my appt time was 2pm and my boyfriends time was 2:25.

We then went away and did some sight seeing and had lunch. I kept checking my appt and the time kept changing dramatically so i'd say definitely keep an eye on this. We then headed back to the hotel for about 1:30 and kept refreshing the page. In the end my appt time jumped to 3:25 and stayed there, so did my bf's.
At about 3:15 we both got a text to say our SA's were nearly ready. We walked across to the store and split up. I sat down in the shoe section while i waited for my text. After about 25 minutes i had a text to say to meet my SA upstairs. I'm not sure if i'm allowed to give names but she was so lovely and friendly! She took me over to the side table and asked for my list. I said i wanted a neutral B30 or K28 but my dream would be a pink or a turqoise.
She went away for what felt like forever, it was about 20 minutes. She then came back and asked me to follow her. At this point i was screaming internally and i was so nervous!!! She then showed me the box and said it's not exactly what i want but she hoped i'd like it. That's when she pulled out the K28 in Blue atoll. I wasn't instantly blown away but the more i tried it the more i loved it. I asked if it could be put at the cash desk while i thought about it.

During this time my bf also had his appt and he repeated the colours and bags i wanted and said it was my birthday gift, the SA said he was very generous and said he would see what he could do. I think my bf waited about 10 minutes for him to get back, then got escorted to a private room. Thats when he got offered the B30 in rose jaipur and he said yes straight away as he knew i loved pink. He also purchased a bag insert for me and some home goods.

So yes thats our story and i hope its helpful. I will say i think it goes a long way when you are very friendly with your SA and make good conversation :). We didn't buy anything from FSH beforehand, only one bracelet. My bf bought the home things after he was offered the bag. I practically skipped out of the store knowing i had that B!!!!! [emoji16]

Thanks! I'm flying there at the end of this month with my husband and daughter. They know I'll be trying to get my first H bag but one thing for sure I won't be queuing every day. Maybe the first day if I'm not exhausted and another day but that's it.
I read everyone's journeys and wow it's like a roller coaster. I'm glad everything worked out for you :-)

Thanks for the wishes ! Unfortunately I have to leave Paris already but I will come back again in 3 weeks to try to return the Lindy and get something else. I read the policy that the exchange does not apply for getting for a b or a k ....
I bought some charms on Hermès France online under my account and also created one under my bf to buy more charms ( since it's limited to 3 per year ) . But I was paying with my cc, and the customer service called to tell me that they linked our two accounts together as they detected it was from the same customer ... so in the boutique they already have the records of my bf even though he has not purchase history in the boutique . And they saw he bought one charm . So apparently in France at least , the online and the boutique accounts seems linked ?
Correct me if I am wrong, but at the cashier when we were paying this was what the sa was telling us from the computer records

Maybe that's why, sorry to hear that but maybe you should try another boutique. Hopefully they will understand.

Yep, I was under the impression that the boutique account uses passport number or first & last name for appointments/purchase history records.
When he made the appointment and offered his details, was he told that they already have his information?

And it seems strange that your account will have 2 names attached to it. They must have over-write one name with another. Did your charm purchase on H.com under your boyfriend name happened after or before your Dec Birkin purchase?

If it's after, it could be possible that they over-write ur account with his name. Hence all your purchase history will show up under his account instead & that's why the SA is able to know that there is a Birkin purchase in December.

If you bought in December, it was last year, so you can buy another bag no issue....you don't need to use DH's passport, but maybe it will help! Happy anniversary!

The charm purchase was after the b purchase in December . It was a different sa who helped us this time , as the previous one was not free at the moment . They said nothing about having his details until we paid and they said they already have his records from h.com . Maybe it's just a local thing that they are linking the online h.com with the boutique records since my bf is local ?

Haha it's puzzling ...

Yess it is >.< I will probably go back next time and check if your purchase history record is a clean slate now as i can't think of a possible reason why a different SA would know about your past birkin purchase with ur bf info. Let's hope they dont have a issue of data (purchase history) duplication in the system =)
