Paris trip for Hermes

My SA as always came through. I had an appointment this morning with her. I asked for a b 30 in black phw or b 25 pink or black phw. I ended up with a beautiful Black phw swift B25 (baby Birkin). Very happy, it's so light im in shock. She said you will have to come back for a 30 in black and she asked me when I would be back. I said later this year. Probably October or November. Went to my hotel switched bags now I'm having lunch at bread and roses.

Is George V worth to go?

they are not going to sell you another B/K on this trip, I know there have been posts of some getting multiple bags but you generally need to be VIP or have several people so they can use a different passport.

Paris a wonderful city with so much to do, why not enjoy what you've bought and have a great time. Go eat something delicious!

My SA as always came through. I had an appointment this morning with her. I asked for a b 30 in black phw or b 25 pink or black phw. I ended up with a beautiful Black phw swift B25 (baby Birkin). I found that making appointments with SA at other stores isn't going to work, I made an appointment with a SA at Severes weeks before I went to Paris, and still I didn't get any bags. SA at FSH generally are more capable of offering bags, but I find it hard to really connect with them. I asked the SA that sold me my K whether I could still see him next time, he told me that I'd still have to wait in line(unlike others mentioned that you could skip the line and asked for the SA), but I can ask for him. There was absoultely no mention that I could email him, nor did he give me his business card. If you don't mind, could you share how to get the SA willing to offer you an appointment next time you visit Paris? thanks.

Completely agree with MrsOwen3. Spend the remainder of your time in Paris doing other things than trying for another B/K. Both FSH and Sevres SAs have already told you no more B/K for you. Be happy with the one you bought.

Ooh, I definitely agree. I have known my SA for three years or more, and I never purchased a bag from the SA, not even a rodeo charm. I don't always ask for B/K, I ask for other bags, but nothing. I know some succeed in Severes, but I have found Severes to be the most diffciult store....but I still enjoy going there, for the Petit H charms.

Thank you so much for sharing, you are really lucky to have such a wonderful SA, feel so much better when visiting Paris every time. I always feel stressful visiting FSh, I know to take it easy, but somehow it just feels a little sad to go home empty handed. I always have difficult connecting with the SA, I tried sharing other stuff with them as other TPFers suggested, but somehow, they just seem not interested, and want to get it over with fast. I found that unless the SA really likes or connects with you, otherwise they gave you the business card out of politness. Congratulations again, I love B25, I got one in terra beaute in Japan, it's so cute.

How are the SAs to know whether you are a reseller or not, even if you reiterate that you are not one. All the computers in Paris are linked. George v will be the same. The fact that you have a B is already great news. Some SAs will not sell you anymore bags esp C, lindy since you have picked up a coveted bag already. Suggest you try at the airport and enjoy the rest of Paris.

Honestly, I think you need to stop with the bags. I tried to say this nicely. The French are not glutinous people. They do not buy huge quantities of things at once. You are going to leave a very bad impression if you keep going back and asking for more bags. If you ever want to go back and buy a bag I would really stop now. Go enjoy Paris. This all seems a bit excessive.

Question on logistics though - I read that at FSH you queue for an appointment with the Leather Department. So would you tell the Leather SA that you were also after other non leather items?

I've always been referred to those particular departments. The only thing a leather SA has helped with were twillys if they brought a B/K. It seems they work by departments and I'm not sure most can interchange. When DH was trying shoes and it was time for our appointment, shoe SA called over leather SA. I've had a jewelry SA help with leather before though.

Are you still looking for a B/K or another bag? I'm afraid they will give you the same response regarding B/K. Those in this thread that have acquired more than 1 usually have a spouse or family member present (aka another passport). It is more of an exception and doesn't happen on a regular basis. The others are probably regular clients or VVVIP.
