Long story:
Hello fellow Hermes lovers! I have been a longtime fan of Hermes (2010) and it started with scarves because of the creativity and top notch designs. I never even heard of a birkin until maybe a year ago and it piqued my interest because of the quality and leather colors from researching online. The summer of 2016 I went to France for my honeymoon. I decided to check out the Hermes FSH and Sevres for the first time and it was beautiful! I went to FSH first and read reviews to wait in line 2 hours before the boutique opened which I did. The main entrance opened first and SA asked what I am looking for. I literally said exactly what I wanted B25, 30, etc. The SA brought a Bleu Sapphire B25 and Blue Jean B25, but I rejected it after finally seeing it in person, the 25 was too small for me and it was not Togo leather, it was a different name...not epsom. So I said thank you for her time and went downstairs and bought gorgeous Savanah Dance scarves and fine china as well. I kinda of slightly regretted not getting the 25B, but if it is gonna be my very first Birkin, I would rather take my time and wait for that special color that warms my heart. Fast forward, ...a couple months lmao we visited Paris in Dec 2016 on a quick trip via from a different country. We went to FSH and got rejected, went to Sevres and long story short....out of my Top 5 list (it was #1 actually), I was offered a beautiful B30....the "newest" color....and my very FIRST Birkin stay tuned for more pics Now, I know why the B is in demand, the quality is amazing, and the new colors are just beautiful!

Jsusan: I have not previously worked with the SA at sevres or fsh before. I merely tagged along with my friend who is a first timer in paris. So she placed her name at sevres (about 2pm) waiting for her turn and I was having tea upstairs. When it came her turn I just met her at the handbag section. The sales associate, he took down our wishlist and disappeared for a bit while I went to the petit h area to browse around. He asked us to follow him to the clothing section and showed us a few things on our wish list. Definitely very friendly and accommodating. He said there weren't many options. We did give him very specific requests (choice of leather, hardware and color). I was already over the moon when I was offered my pochette especially the pricing of the leather goods is great with the euro exchange! The rest was history. Definitely a great experience!! I saw other customers being offered wonderful b/k as well! So this let me believe that sevres was an easier store to obtain goodies! Fsh I had no such luck and we went over a two day period both at different appointment times. Hope that helps.
