Hello tFPers,
I'll be in Paris next January. I never perchase any H item in Europe. (I'm based in Taiwan.) My biggest issue is that I only visit there for one day and due to the schedule, I can only choose either FSH or George V boutique to try my luck. Which one will you recommend? I would like to buy a replacing belt for my kelly watch, twillys, charms, and a kelly 25 or 28. I will also stay in London for a week. However, tFPers mentioned that it is currently low in stock in London. I will definitely try my luck there though, if I do not score any bag in Paris. xo

My advice is to choose FSH, the range will be wider than at GV. In my own experience, stock levels are low in Jan in Paris because of the Christmas rush so chances are not as high as in December. Best of luck for London also, only larger bags were available at Bond St yesterday.

Fsh is def a better bet.

If you wait in line in the morning and are not seen immediately by an SA, is it possible to request a late afternoon (5-6pm) appointment? Or is it by next available assignment only?

I would like to know the answer to this also.

I do know that it is possible to get a same day appointment arriving in late afternoon, but who knows if that is always possible!

Thank you both for the reply. I will take your advise to bet on FSH. I'll be in Paris in 31th January, in the very very~~~~~ end of Jan. Will this timing looks better? Alas, I try to tell myself that my goal is buying replacing strap, charms, and twillys. An offer of bags are just a bonus.:p

Sis and I split up to wait at both entrances today, seeing how lone never knows how they handle the opening.

I am truly happy for Binkmartini getting her bag. As I said before, never jealous of any members here scoring at FSH. However, I do wish I had someone like her SA at least once. The SA sister had the first day was a little bit like that, and he was the only one who brought out the KP. So I can't help but think when the SAs rushes me to spit out my request, especially standing in the middle of the madness, i.e. right next to the appt manager and customers who are setting of their appts, I would be rejected.

And yes, I am aware there were many cases of customers getting their bags even when they did not look the best. But I do fit "over 40 and overweight" type mentioned here earlier. So ahem, perhaps it is true I am not the customer FSH wants.

And ladies and gents, Binkmartini was the prettiest girl on the queue that morning.

But I am too middle aged care about how other people think how I look. So no, it doesn't bother me if they really cared about me being "unpretty." So don't worry about me crying over that fact. It was just a part of many mysteries I am dealing with FSH.

Thank you NanamiRyu. I've had times (before the new system) where I queued numerous times a day for several days and kept being turned down. I think it all boils down to luck - luck in being assigned a helpful SA and luck in that day being a day with good deliveries, both of which we aren't able to control. I was really lucky this trip, but wouldn't be surprised at all if I ended up going home empty handed. I really hope you had better luck today.

i got offered same as you B25 Bleu Sapphire...was it my SA you saw bringing up boxed and Twillys...i was the girl in leopard shirt!

Hi Manon07, yes I believe so, I remember you. Your SA came back quite abit earlier than mine and with the twillies. Congrats!
