I will leave this reminder as a sticky because tthis is often a thread that new members (or new Hermès lovers) post on - hopefully temporarily.

I just came back. My friend went to line up around 10am on Wed and there were few people in line. She got an appointment for 11:30am and was offered whatever she requested. I went to line up around 9:15am on Fri and there were 25+ people in front of me. I'd say to go there before 9:30am from Tue-Thur and before 9am on Fri-Sat. Seems like the stocks are more between Tue-Thur.

When you say your friend was offered whatever she requested, does that includes B/K/C? What count as regular customer? purchase history at FSH? can you ask for a SO? or do you have to wait for the SA to offer? thanks.

After Paris, DH and I had gone to London. We are finally back in the state and settled in. Jetlagged definitely gets harder as I get older. Didn't recall it being as hard to get back in track. As promise here are pics from my purchase at FSH. I was able to score a B35 in Noir that day. I had also picked up a Bearns wallet in Rouge Tomate and Kelly wallet in Rose Jaipur. Thank-you ladies again for always sharing your experience. I also wanted to add that I was very lucky to score a Constance compact wallet in Hermes Harrods. I was not planning to buy anything at Harrods that day, was simply walking by to look at inventory. A SA had approach and started talking to me. She told me that stock and inventory have been very low due to increase influx of tourists. But she said to me that something came in the delivery today and brought out the wallet. Needless to say, I was very surprised and couldn't believe my luck! Lovely DH was with me and saw the look on my face and quickly told the SA that we will take it. View attachment 3527151

Congrats on everything especially the Constance Wallet. Is it a new color?

I am just back from Paris. I was able to buy a Kelly 35, my favorite size, in raisin. I am a frequent visitor to the store. I did not go at opening time and I did not have any trouble getting into the store to shop. I would not go before 11-11:30 to avoid the rush if you just want to shop for other things in the store. I only noticed 1 or 2 people sitting around the store checking their phones and not shopping. I believe it looks very bad for people to do that. But the store was serene and much more pleasant now that the line inside the store is gone. And yes they have someone to help with small leather goods immediately so you do not need to wait.

I just wanted to give feedback because it had sounded like the store was chaotic or that people were having a hard time getting in to shop from other posts. That's not true. It was a very pleasant shopping experience.

Congratulations PbP. Raisin is my grail color. So were you able to email an SA ahead and get an appointment or get an appointment with you regular SA after you arrived? I wouldn't call myself a regular having only purchased there twice before but I did read other success stories of tpfers getting appointments through these two channels. Thanks.

Hello, all! I've mostly been a lurker on tPF for awhile and hadn't really been interested in anything "H"....pretty much ever. I don't know what happened, but suddenly, I find I've been bitten by the H bug and now can't seem to shake off this inexplicably strong desire to try and score a B30 at FSH.:lol::graucho::giggle::panic:(Old Me is chuckling/shaking her head at Current Me for falling for all of the Hype....with a capital H!)

Having read through almost all of the posts in this thread, a couple of recent ones (quoted above) stuck out to me in their mentions of December being a relatively better time in terms of stock. Would most of you (especially those of you who have been to FSH in December) agree with that? I worry that even though there may be more stock in December, the stores themselves might be more crowded due to the holiday season. We have also been considering February (before fashion week) or March (after fashion week) as potential travel dates.

I know one shouldn't plan a trip around a bag, but since my husband and I are somewhat flexible with dates/timing, I wanted to tap into your experiences/insights/suggestions for this component of our trip! What would you guys recommend in terms of FSH in December versus February/March?

Thanks in advance, lovelies! (Hope you all don't think I'm TOO crazy...)

I went last December and got lucky but that could be because of the bombing last year. Also I'm not sure about the new system. There will be a lot more regular parisians shopping around that time too.

Congrats on your new birkin and other beautiful purchases!

To answer a few of the questions from other people: if you are offered a bag at home I agree to take it. You never know if they will have what you want at fsh.

They do not have birkins or Kelly's at duty free but they might have a garden party. You generally have to buy something else and then ask. They keep many of the bags in the back.

Some established customers were able to preschedule their times. If you do place a SO you have to go back to pick it up.

Here's my story from FSH Birkin hunt:

11/17 Thur- Went in around 5:30pm. Bought few scarves, belts and got a ring from fine jewelry. The SA in fine jewelry was able to get a leather SA to help me with bags without an appointment. I asked for neutral color Birkins and was told all sold out.

11/18 Fri - Arrived the store around 9:20am and lined up at the front door. There were 25+ people before me. Got an appointment for 3:30pm and was delayed until 4pm. I was told that they had lots of deliveries including netural colors on Thursday and were sold out by 5pm so there was only a dark orange B size 35 and a light orange B size 30. I refused. The SA asked me to come back next day to just see her.

11/19 Sat - I lined up at front door before 9am and requested for an appointment with the same SA. My appointment moved up from 2:30pm to 11am within 10 mins. Again was told no new deliveries yet and advised me to try again in the afternoon. I went back to the store around 3:30pm and met with her without an appointment. Unluckily there was no new delivery. She said that they would expect new deliveries next Tue/Wed. Unfortunately Sat was my last day in Paris. She felt bad and offered me a special order. I was able to pick a leather, color and hw combo. Not sure if this will go through but did make me feel a little bit about my trip.

Congrats! May I ask if you are a regular? How many times have you purchased from FSH to be offered a special order? TIA!!

I have often been faced with same dilemma. I say if you are offered the combo you want at your home store...go for it. Paris will save you a lot of money but it's luck of the draw.

I agree! If your dream bag is offered at your home store, I would recommend that you buy it since Paris is not a guarantee. However, if the bag offered by your home store is merely a "like" but not a love... by all means, try your luck in Paris. Good luck!! Keep us posted!

Congratulations, @pe66le3506! Beautiful wallets and B35. They're the dreamiest! Lucky find at Harrods too.

I just got great news from the SA I met in FSH that my special order was approved! To answer the questions from previous posts:

1. I can either fly back to pick it up in person myself or authorize someone (must present a copy of my passport and an authorization letter from me) to pick it up.

2. I never purchased anything from Hermes Paris on my previous trips. On this trip, I purchased a gold ring, some scarves, few belts and a wallet. I was offered a special order of regular leather (togo/epsom/celemence) after purchase of the first 3 items because they just opened the SO quota to regular customers at that time so I was just in time.

3. Mid-End December is a better time to go because I was told by the same SA that they would have most stocks then.

Good luck!!
