I am new too.....I love this blog. What a great link! On that link they speak of leather bracelets. I REALLY want one. I would love a sneak peek, but October is right around the corner.:D

Are these sellers on EBay retailers, or are they just private people?

I'm asking because at some point I will have extra beads that don't work on any of my designs and was thinking about putting them on EBay, but didn't know if people would buy from an individual.

Of course I'm also intrested in checking out what's for sale on EBay, too.

Individual sellers on ebay. People will buy from an individual on ebay. In fact, sometimes I feel more comfortable buying from someone who only has a few beads rather than pages of them.

I was able to reserve 3 sets of the cancer awareness empowerment beads, seems they are extremely limited and only available to dealers in the Northeastern US.

I think that is a cute story. If my husband only knew how much I've spent on beads, he'd have a coronary!

I did some searching and found a dealer not too far from me that sells Troll beads. I called and they will be getting the BCA set. Since I'll be near there tomorrow I'm going to pop into the store and see if I can reserve a set.

ReRe, what brand is that sparkly pink glass bead you just bought? It's really pretty.

What does everyone think of the 14k mystic murano beads? Are they worth the extra $$ and can you see the gold on them or am I better to spend more money on other gold beads & spacers?

Anyone know why the dangle zodiacs are so expensive (compared to other silver beads)? They're not in the enamel or stone category, I can't imagine what material they are. But they look very good!

Well, at long last my first bracelet is almost complete!

I still have to buy a safety chain - and I will add at least one more murano at some stage and move a couple of beads on to my second bracelet - but for now I'm happy and will wait to see what new beads come out before I decide on my next design.

This is just too, too addictive - I often (always!) find myself trawling Ebay and Etsy when I should be getting on with my work. It's a good job I work for myself or I'd be sacked by now!

woohoo, thanks for the link to the new beads.
Loving the ballet slippers and the filigree gold beads. The Panda is pretty cute too.
And my life won't be complete without a purple lariat!!
