Good news! I had posted that I had lost two silver beads & chipped the murano that I had to replace...well... today walking to my car in the parking lot at work I FOUND one of my silver beads!! It's been two weeks & torrential rains, leaf blowing, & grass cutting and I found one!! I guess it pays to keep looking. :) I'm only down one silver bead now.

Thank you all for the reassurance about the ebay murano. While I do not like it nearly as much as my original (very red!); it will hold its place. Maybe I can find one that's closer when I go to the Pandora store. It was chosen by a good friend and I don't want to feel sad that I damaged her beautiful bead every time I see the new one. It's not bad, just not as good.

Oh that is great new d3899 your were meant to find that bead. Glad you are reassured about the authenticity of your Murano even though it's not like the beloved one. ;) I love the way tPF ladies have all of the answers to our questions and anxieties this place is awesome. Again...congrats on finding your bead....wish I could find the gold clip I lost and my SS lion bead! LOL

It's free bracelet with purchase time in my area! I really wish this was the promotion when the new fall beads come out, then I would have a reason to go drool and buy new beads and get a new bracelet. In the meantime, I am looking at the catalog, trying to figure out what new look I want in a bracelet. Turns out, I am mostly attracted to EXPENSIVE!!! LoL

Coming soon, Trollbeads has a set of glass beads made for them specially for October awareness. They are light pink, different designs. The cost for the whole set of 10 beads is $300 and 1/3 of the proceeds will go to the Susan B. Komen For the Cure Foundation. I put a picture up at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Addicted2Trollbeadsandmore/

Here's a direct link to it, but you have to be a member to see files or photos.

Originally this was going to be available only to NE US dealers, but I understand it has been opened up to all.

I don't know how to upload a picture from my computer to this message.

Thanks for the info.
Sorry I can't scan the pic as it wasn't my mag and I don't have it now.:p

I was told yesterday that the Australian pink bracelet for breast cancer as shown in Marie Claire Mag will be out next month. The local jeweller was saying it is a pink leather one. Has anyone a picture from the magazine? I havant seen it yet.

That is wonderful news. I use to have a grandfather that could always find four leaf clovers. His secret? Because he kept looking. But a tiny Pandora bead is much harder to find than a four leaf clover.

Well, it's official. I'm obsessed. It ocurred to me today that when I get my Pandora appraised for insurance my husband will find out how I've spent on it this year. :p How embarassing. But so much fun.

My permanent two-tone bracelet with the cream Muranos is almost complete, and I added a two-tone safety chain. It still has a couple of silver beads, but the overall effect is very warm and attractive. I love the cream Murano. It goes with almost anything.

My permanent black and pink bracelet is also nearly finished, and I'm very pleased with it. I get a ton of compliments when I wear it.

I also have one "free" bracelet and a lariat (I love the lariat) to play around with, as I have lime green, blue-green, and red Muranos, as well as as three brown and one orange Murano that go together nicely. I also have some pink and some green enamels that I'm playing with.

But...maybe it's time to stop buying for a while.

I gotta say, thanks to the good tips from this forum, I'm skipping the free bracelet event. Take retail, then add our high sales tax, and it's money ahead to watch the trusted sellers on ebay. Plus, I love the thrill of the chase.

It's three days after my teapot/cupcake kendalldew purchase, and here the new beads sit on my new bracelet, while the other beads I bought in sales before that are still in the hands of the flying monkeys. You say she carries 14k beads? How dangerous for my credit card. ;)

I know I really should look for deals, but I got a nice fat bonus this year, and what better way to spend it? Plus, there are three stores near me that sell the whole line, and I go in and there it all is, all shiny in its little trays, just waiting for me...

I know what you mean Lillia - I love shopping at my local Pandora stockist because every bead is right there in front of me and its easier to make a decision when you can see them in real life. I went in the other day picked out 4 beads for my bracelet and OOPS, managed to spend $230!! Its so much fun though.

Its coming up to birthday time and can't wait to see what Mum has got me. I hinted to my fiance for the I LOVE U square bead but he's told me that I've spent too much lately on my bracelet and is getting me something else which I discovered was a coffee machine. Oh well, I really wanted a coffee machine too but hopefully I get some cash then I'l be back at the Pandora store for more beads (Ahh, the best of both worlds, coffee & Pandora!)

Oh I didn't mean to imply that buying retail from a jeweler is bad, it's just not my thing. Last large bonus I got was spent at Tiffanys. I wish I'd known about Pandora then, though I still love my other jewelry. In a way, its a symbol of my personal success. My mom & sis once ribbed me that as a never-married person, I had no man to buy me diamonds like they did. So the next week bought my own diamond ring.

Has anyone experienced their bracelet feeling like it has "stretched"? Does it stop stretching? Has anyone had to buy a new one because of it?

Thanks1

Mine stretched heaps! I bought a 18cm (should of got a 17cm but thought bigger bracelet more beads:graucho:) and it stretched to about 20 - 21 cm. I would fall under the ball of my hand when typing etc so I had it shortened at my a local jeweller who stocks Pandora and they are manufacturing jewellers as well.

He shortened it by about 3cm by taking some off each end of the bracelet so that the clips are still in the middle. It cost $25.00 - much less than a new bracelet. I would recommend it if yours is to big. One jewellery shop told me that they would unravel if they did that (young girl not jeweller himself). So if you are told it can't be done they are telling "pork pies"

There is a lot of weight on them when they are full so that is why they stretch.

I am still doubtful about the whole stretching thing.
I have 5 bracelets and one time after this was discussed, I went and measured them all, and they are all still exactly the same size as when I bought them.
The oldest is 2.5 years and the most recent one about 6 months ago. All are full, so it isn't that other people may have more weight on theirs.
Surely if they stretched - wouldn't everyone's bracelets do it?
