Brighton has a charm bracelet line. They have a charm for each state. They're all SS and usually enamel (the state beads). Great if you like lots of color or are looking to make a less expendsive bracelet. They've also got pendants to go along with their charm necklaces that I really like.

Hi, everyone. Last time I was in the Pandora store, I heard that they are opening a new one in Cherry HIll mall, NJ. Also, the owner was asking me my opinion about exclusive beads. we got to talking how las vegas has the exclusive dice beads and he was asking what I thought would be appropriate for Philadelphia. Of course the Liberty Bell came to mind. they are seriously thinking of doing an exclusive bead. won't that be so cool.

There is always Willy Penn, I love getting close enough to the city and seeing him up there "waiting" for me.

What about a cheese steak? A strange charm I know, however you can't get a good cheese steak anywhere else.

I was in Kennebunkport, ME this summer and came home with a lobster (draped over a wooden cage) bead. You can see it on the other thread. Look for the bracelet with the bright orange murano. My summer time bracelet.

Hello, all. I began reading this thread when I rec'd a Pandora bracelet & beads from every guest at my birthday party in July. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way how easily the beads come off as I carried my bracelet through the parking lot at work. :( I lost 2 silver beads & one of my glass beads chipped significantly (two other glass beads & one silver bead survived their falls). I just rec'd a replacement glass bead for the one I had chipped from the ebay seller kendellew. Given that I have the same bead from the Pandora store & three other glass beads combined with all I've learned about authenticating here at TPF, I can say with confidence that the bead I rec'd from kendellew is not authentic. It is visually smaller, the stamps are off & the colors are off. I'm so disappointed that now I'm out that money & still have the bead to replace, but am not sure what I should do. I guess I'll email the seller. At least I paid via CC with Paypal.

^^ Wait before you file an SNAD. Pandora muranos are all hand made. They vary in size because they are made one at a time. They vary in color because glass varies batch to batch. Stamping is also done by hand. You will never find 2 Pandora muranos that are completely identical because they are not cast into molds. Please take my word on this as I have been buying Pandora for 4+ years.

I totally agree with Izzy.Ive bought many, many beads from Kendell as well as from 3 different retailers close to me.There are never 2 muranos alike...colors are always off a bit,and even sizes can be slightly off.Ive never received anything but authentic beads from her.

TY, Izzy's mom, for your reply!
I looked at all of my colored beads & the ebay one really is different to me. The type on the 925 Ale side is a lot smaller than any of my other beads & the size is smaller enough that it's noticeble on the bracelet. I'll look at it again tomorrow. Honestly I didn't think anything of it until I saw the beads together. They really don't look alike!
TY, too, Lolas!

I too have murano beads, I purchased another 3 a few months ago off a pandora website(legit) and the ones I received, one was visably bigger than my others and didnt match so I sent it back for a replacement. They are handmade therefore no 2 will be identical. I dont think I would buy muranos online, I would rather go into a jewellers to match the beads to my existing ones.

D I'm sure your Pandora is authentic. But as Kylie suggests, muranos are best bought in person where you can sort through a batch, especially if you are trying to match size/color on the same bracelet. In fact, part of the fun in collecting the muranos is to look for the color variances, especially in the pinks and greens.

Thank you for the reassurances! I agree about picking beads in person, but as I knew what I needed to replace, I didn't think anything of it. Lesson learned! I'm glad I checked here first. :)

Got to get two clips to put at the end of your bracelet so the charms don't fall off. Other swear by the safety chain. I'll probably get both since this is such an investment.

I totally agree, I have purchased 2 white muranos for my 2-tone bracelet and I was really picky when purchasing them from my local Pandroa shop - I went for ones with tiny dots instead of the big blobby dots (if that makes sense?):smile1: They were all so different!

I, personally, love the variation in the Murano glass beads. They are always the most time-consuming to choose at the store because they can be so different. On my aqua and green bracelet, I agonized for hours over which beads look best with each other. Some were more yellow and some were more blue...it took a long time to get the right combination.

They also photograph differently! The new-ish flower glass beads photographed very vibrantly, but when I saw them in person, many of the colors were more subdued. For example, the "orange" bead is more golden yellow (which I LOVE). Most of the batches that I have seen are the lovely yellow, and when I finally saw the vibrant orange, I almost didn't believe it was the same one! I think the pink bead of that fower design and the red also look different in person.

Because they are handmade and unique gives them more personality. I must agree that these beads are ones to choose in a setting where you can examine and play with them!

I agree. I bought two purple muranos from a Pandora retailer online and one was significantly bigger than the other. It was okay, as one was for my bracelet and one for my daughter's and she didn't care that it was bigger than her others. However, I've decided to buy the muranos in person from now on because I'm really picky :p.

By the way, welcome to all the new people and hello to everyone else who has been here all along. I haven't posted in awhile -- the thread was actually kind of quiet for a bit awhile back -- but I've been lurking and enjoying all the new bracelets posted. Beautiful!!

Have any of you Pandora experts found any other "Authentic" Pandora sellers one ebay that sell inferior charms? I have bought most of my charms from Pandora shops or Jewellry shops authorized to sell Pandora. But I just bought an expensive one from ebay for quite a savings for me in Canada. I guess I'll be ok with it as long as the sliver and gold don't peel off. I use to love ebay, but there are some shady characters on there now. Thanks for any help you can give me.
