I did a search on the internet earlier today to see if I could find any news or pictures of the Fall 2009 beads. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I did find something very interesting. This is from a German website (translated by Google):

Pandora World Innovation 2009:
Pandora WOOD elements (immediately available)
Pandora WATCHES items (available around summer 2009)

Continue Pandora News - still without a date about 2010:
Pandora sunglasses - super accessories
Pandora Perfume - a fabulous fragrance
Pandora braided leather - leather in different colors

Pandora Liquid Silver - Silver Dream Jewelry

I wonder what the "Liquid Silver" jewelry will look like. Has anyone heard of it? :wondering

Hi Izzy's Mom

Thank you for your post - I felt a lot better after reading it. I have tried taking pictures - with not very much success - but will try to attach them to this note.

I have also contacted the seller to ask for her thoughts as to why there are no ALE and 925 marks. To be fair her comments were along the same lines as your own. DH thinks I should just put the bead on the bracelet and forget about it - perhaps he's right?

Sally T thanks for posting the pictures. To my eye they look identical and would feel that they are Pandora as looking at them side-by-side nothing jumped out at me. I know that there was lots of drama earlier this year regarding an ebayer who sold suspect beads (fyi the ones I bought were authenticated by a 3rd party) and we've all been a little anxious since. So my advice is to wear your beads in good health. They look lovely!

Quick question and wondering if anyone can provide suggestions:

I would like to add some gold to my bracelet but want to spend as little as I can. Should I add just a couple of gold spacers or is it better to go with 1 or 2 gold beads or just stick with s/s & 14k beads throughout the whole bracelet?

Also, are the gold mystic muranos worth the extra $$? I have 2 white spot muranos and wondering if for the third I go with a white mystic & 14k murano to add extra gold?

ClioD-thank you for posting that! I think I'm gonna try that with a few non-Pandora beads first.

Nelly4-don't know if you're sticking to Pandora-only, but if you're not, I'm filling in my gold lust cheaply with the gold plated beads from silverbeadbox.com. They'll get me by while I'm just starting out, and at $14-18/ea, if they flake, I don't kick myself for having to pitch them. (As the newbie here, please feel free to tell me if I'm wasting money.)

Thanks shinylizard, I think I'd prefer to just have Pandora on there at the moment. I guess even if I just invest in a couple of gold spacers and get the rest 2-tone beads then I can add that gold sparkle I'm looking for.

Izzy's Mom - thank you so much for your usual calm and thoughtful response. It's great to have the thoughts of someone who knows a lot about these things.

As you say, Jewels-2005 sent many of us into a spin earlier in the year and now, perhaps unnecessarily, some of us are a little over anxious. However, given UK prices, Ebay is often the only hope of moving on the addiction quickly!

I'm just waiting for another two beads to arrive (from a tried and trusted dealer!) and then I'll post a picture.

ClioD -thanks bunches for the info on oxidizing beads; I wear a bracelet all of the time now I won't have to be so afraid of accidentally getting it in some household chemical that will lose the oxidation. I love tPF. :D

mitties27, shinylizard, and Kandi: I'm glad you found the info on oxidizing sterling silver helpful. I should add that the beads I tried this on did not have any stones or pearls. I'm not sure if or how they would be effected. I would be especially careful with pearls, as they have a delicate finish.

I went to pick up a couple of purple murano's today...the local retailer gave me a small booklet of the fall beads. Really cute. So much that I'm trying to decide, now that the purple is finished, what to do next. I like the way two worn together looks.
