The picotin sometimes comes in the Maurice leather which is less slouchy than the Clemence. I have a 18 in Maurice and a 22 in Clemence. I don't know if Maurice is an option in the 22 tho.

I purchased my Pico 18 in July 2020. I don't use an insert. This isn't my daily bag but I do try to use it a few times per month. Hope these pics help!

I happened to check out on the US website with my very first picotin 18 in rose texas on my birthday!!! Such a fun surprise that I was able to make it to checkout!

i was told it was made of pigmented aluminum so the color is within the entire metal rather than coated on topGorgeous SO BLACK!! Huge congratulations, dear @ilicia!!
Do you happen to know what the material for the black hardware is? Or if it is PVD coating or anodized aluminum coating? I'm thinking about a SO BLACK, too.
Congrats! I have 2 Picotin 18s and I store one that has a stiffer leather with the air bags. For the slouchier Pico in clemence leather, I use a 7RP insert as it provides the perfect shape and support.
I'm a big believer in that there is no one answer for storage for each bag. Storing Birkins flat in the box with the tissue paper "pillow" it came with seems to a popular method on this forum, but I have seen first hand that this way can warp clemence and epsom leather on a Birkin. It's best to see how the leather reacts to your method of storage.
Cuivre is such an underrated colour. It is so beautiful in person! Here I used my gold lock from my Herbag to switch up this picotin in PHW
