oh ok, i mean if it's an LV store, there shouldn't be an issue but yeah, like mocha.lover said, you could always go to a standalone boutique and get them to scan it for you to be safe.LV at Nordstrom Seattle
I don’t have a date code and my bag is stamped in Made in Italy.Normal. You can take it to your local LV shop, and they can scan your bag for a microchip, which should say when it’s made and where. Unless the item is made in France, it won’t be stamped in the bag, so your bag could be made in Spain or USA.

How can you guys tell if it’s microchipped?
it won’t have a date code inside … and if u mean making sure it has one … they will at some stores scan when u buyand if not there’s an app … it will detect chip but not tell you any info about “made in” etc

What’s the app called? I was hoping to find out when it was made but I guess I might not be able to. I at least want to make sure it has a chip lol
I downloaded the app. Will check in the morningI feel the same way wanted to know - one time they were nice in store n did it another time they acted like I was asking for secret info lol… which is so strange considering it used to be in every bag for us to see lol
I believe the app is called “NFC TOOLS”
In App Store … just google the will prompt u to move around the object (bag) lol and I found mine pretty quick![]()
Hope it work, report back if not fingers crossed![]()
I downloaded the app. Will check in the morningbut based on the videos available, it just tells you where the chip is. I wonder if the info of when it’s made would be in my profile…if I called. I’m wanting a particular datecode
