I’ve recently bought two new LV bags. Graceful mm monogram (received yesterday) and Neverfull empreinte (received 10 days ago) The Graceful does not have any date code, the Neverfull has. Its produced in 2021. Don’t remember the exact week.
I ordered an Alma BB a few months ago and I couldn't find the date stamp code either. I assume it's microchipped by now (sounds like a dog or a cat).

They wouldn't need your receipt. I imagine the code is noted in your purchase profile and while you can't tell who bought what from scanning the chip I'm sure scanning the chip will allow them to pull up the code then crosscheck it in the client system.

What this will mean is an end to getting your preloved items repaired in store. Which is fair. Service should be reserved for customers who purchase directly.
Why? I don't see the point of limiting to customers who purchase directly. A legitimate authentic LV is just that; authentic. It shouldn't matter where or from whom it was purchased. I recently brought my Noe into LV to have the full vachetta replaced and I originally purchased the bag about 3 years ago on eBay. For some reason, they removed the original date code, so it shows nowhere that it's "authentic" other than the brand new vachetta. Even that wouldn't prove its authenticity. But I'm comfortable that LV clearly proved its authenticity by repairing the bag in the first place. Otherwise I know they'd return it to me to let me know it was a fake, therefore refusing to repair.

but its purchased directly from the lv website? I collected it in store too
I was joking. Even the question that something collected in an actual Vuitton store is authentic or not is beyond funny. You couldn't be serious.

On the serious note: the "nothing after Spring has a datecode" is not a rule for the company. It is generally true though for most bags now, but it is not written in the Bible. There are and will be items that have codes. So no worries, your bags are fine.

lol don't know if you don't read around much but there has been instances before where fake products were sold in the actual stores. a simple google search will show cases that happened, its not impossible.
Yep it was on the news a few years back that someone bought a LV bag from the boutique. Later she went back to return it however she was trying to return a FAKE bag. If it wasn't caught it would have been sold to someone I'm sure. Scammers are becoming more scammy!

Hello, I recently purchased 2 bags (nano speedy and nano nice) from lv website. it was made around October 2021 with date codes. does it mean its not authentic
I just purchased my nano speedy early January 2022 from the boutique and it was also made in October 2021. Not all bags have microchips. I was told by my SA SLGs don't have microchips. Not sure if our Nanos are considered SLGs but mine is like yours with a date code.

Guys, I bought a Pochette Accessoires in-store back in December and it didn’t have the date code anymore, it’s the new version with the chip. Do you know of the chip contains the information about the manufacturing date and if it can be read somehow? I’m guessing LV employees can but, can they share it with the customer?

Only LV employees have the right app to read the chip. If you have a NFC reader you can just see some random code if you scan it. LV employees can share the info With you but the policy on this can be different at each store.
