Do you know where the chip is located? I just got my Mon Mono Speedy 35 today and it doesn't have a date code (which I expected) but not sure where to find the chip. I guess it doesn't matter if I find it since I ordered a Mon Mono online and know it's real. Mostly curious. And I kinda geek out on knowing when it was produced.Yes it’s a chip inside now- I called as soon as mine came! So weird. You have to take it in to find out where/when you’re bag was produced.
I scanned it outside the bag where the pocket it is! A code comes up but not a date code.Do you know where the chip is located? I purchased a speedy DE and handles were like yours- I took to store and she exchanged it. I had to wait a couple weeks but SO worth it!You don't understand how happy I am to have found this thread I was panicking so bad. I just bought my first LV bag, the alma bb and I couldn't find the code anywhere.
Also, the reason I was looking for it, is I'm considering exchanging it. The handles on mine are super wrinkled where the leather curves and I have googled images of the bag and no one else's seems as bad.
I was wondering anyone's opinion on this, is this common or am I being extra fussy as it's my first LV?
Also any advice on the LV exchange process? is it difficult?
(I have the alma bb in the monogram)

This is interesting. Although this data cannot be turned into anything useful without access to Louis Vuitton's private servers and blockchain authenticators. This only tells the manufacturer (which is a Swiss company), and the 8 Byte serial number, which in this form is just a generic number, doesn't mean anything, random by design.Received my LV neo noe today (the seller bought it from store YESTERDAY and right away sold it on Carousel) and as soon as I couldn't find the date code I look for the microchip. I download this app called NFC Tools (I use Poco phone), scan the whole outer side of the bag and couldn't find anything. Until I scan the inner pocket, at the bottom, my phone beep and show me this:

It says nothing about LV, just a bunch of random codes. Really hope in the future there will be cheat sheet to decipher all these codes :-/

It's a neonoe damier venus, possibly made in 2021Which bag was it?
If she had just bought it, why not just return it? Sounds like it has the chip. I doubt LV will release anything to decifer the codes.....Congrats, it’s a beautiful bag! It's a neonoe damier venus, possibly made in 2021
