My parents and sister are all in southern Japan right now, but thankfully everyone is okay. I spoke to my dad last night and he said that they didn't even feel anything. I'm just so relieved that my family's alright.

Me too. Drove down the coastline. Nothing too major. The wharf & Boardwalk are completely blocked off. The Harbor is blocked off too. It is PACKED down here.

I don't understand why all those people are crowding the exact place they're told NOT to go because it's dangerous. I heard on the radio that some guy was out on his fishing boat with his dog and wouldn't leave!

These were maybe 3-5 foot waves. I can't even begin to fathom a 20+ foot waves... It was crazy enough seeing the docks & boats get tossed around.

Ohhhh prayers to those waiting to hear from loved ones, hopefully peach is okay too and anyone else in affected areas. I live in Colorado and we certainly don't see disasters like this... so unreal!
