It is gorgeous! I love it in the swift leather, it adds a touch of elegance IMO. I can't believe there's room in the store for such a line! It must make things feel very crowded in there. I agree with PbP that the Fendi should be the one to find a new home. Congrats, and thank you for sharing a wonderful story!!
Thank you Klynneann! Yes, the line takes up alot of space. And people were getting very grumpy standing in it too. The lady in front of us kind of threw a hissy fit and demanded to see some SA she had written down on a card. She insisted she had an appointment and the line manager said that a name written down on a card does not constitute an appointment!

This is lovely. I've seen it IRL on my SA who chose it as her scarf of the season and it is quite tempting. The bees are everything!

Enjoying your tale and can't wait for the next chapter!
Thanks JRTgal! Yes, the bees are everything!

Thank you both. And thank you MyH for your advice on my purchases. I couldn't have done it without you. It was so much fun to share the experience with you and I was so happy that you got your dream bag at fsh. I hope you will always reminder that day with fond memories. I will.
No need to thank me PbP! And yes, I will always reminder the day, heck the whole week, we spent together. It feels like a wonderful dream now that I am back to reality!

MYH-
Yesterday was a travel day for me, so just getting caught up!
Thanks for sharing more details of your trip! Beautiful clutch and scarf!
Did PBP also get the blue FP scarf?

Oh yeah, before I got to the end of your post, I thought lose the fendi, the Chanel has a chain!

I did some of your pic on IG, but it is great hearing the whole story!
Looking forward to more details for the rest of the week!
Hello Scarf1! Glad to hear you agree with losing the Fendi clutch. Thanks for stopping by. Did you just come back from somewhere fun too?

OH MY WORD MYH...that is a stunner!!!!! I am sure you will always treasure this beautiful bag and get tons of use out of it! It is absolutely perfect, and I'm so happy you didn't have to stand in line over countless days in order to score this perfect little gem! Loved the photo of the lineup...oh the things we do for H! I don't know about you, but I would never even consider standing in line for another brand, not even for five minutes!
Thank you for your sweet sentiment. Yes, in the end, I'm so glad I didn't have to stand in line everyday to get a bag that I wanted. Even though PbP says I missed out on the "full experience".
And yes, only H can make me stand in line. Once in Milan, I had to stand in line for 5 minutes at Chanel and I was so annoyed!

Yes, I bought the flamingo party too. I was the one who asked to see it and corrupted MyH to buy it too. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

The Evelyn is a pm. I thought I would need the gm as I like large bags but MyH helped me with that. The pm is perfect. I am 5'6". Here is a photo.

The picotin is an MM 22 cm. The orange scarf is rendez vous rive gauche and it is a 70 cm. as you know it's not in my normal colors but I loved the design. I think I'll end up tying it to my bag quite often.
Oh that's right. You corrupted me! My memory of the week is starting to get foggy. I'm going to need your help to tell all the stories hon.
This Evie PM is just perfect on you. So glad you did not get the GM.

Well, this is just killer.

Congrats on the haul! That gorgeous blue Pico is wonderful with your scarves. What fun you and MYH must have had! Confession: I'd much rather be in Paris with a like-minded BFF than with my SO. He has never tolerated the shopping missions very well. :nogood:

JRTgal - I don't think you are alone in feeling this way. Ideally, I could go to Paris twice. Once with my girlfriend and once with DH. I think DH would've stood in line with me but only after lots of drinks and food beforehand.

I'm very grateful I got to do a shopping trip to Paris with a girlfriend. It's something I think everybody should do once in their life. Guys do not have the patience to do the marathon shopping we want to do. :roflmfao:

There is no way my DH is going to have the patience to stand in line with me at H, if I ever get to go. Heck, there's no way he's even going to consider it, much less do it!! He thinks I'm crazy as it is... And maybe I am - so what?! :cray: :cutesy: All the more reason to go with a girlfriend.

I can only imagine. I'm willing to bet the K I don't yet have that when that woman got to the front of the line, all she heard was "non." :giggles:

All I can say is that when I was done and paying for my kelly cut at the register, she was still standing in line.

I can pretty much guarantee that she didn't get a bag. She must not be familiar with Hermes because anyone who is knows that hissy fits get you no where. I wouldn't be surprised if she was banned forever.

MYH - I'm just sneaking a break from work here. Love hearing your story and love every picture of the FSH line. It is reality and like PbP said, you didn't get the FULL experience of the rejections. It was just too easy for you !! :D:D:D Glad that you got it on day 1 and get to enjoy the rest of your shopping trip.

We need to talk about a Paris Meet so the lazy significant others can stay out of the way.

PbP - I love the Evie on you and I think I'm twins with you on the trench. I recognize the cut !! :D:D Glad that you and MYH both score things that you had planned for this trip.

Gorgeous new Evelyne and Picotin Pocketbook Pup!!! I have both bags and love them so much! And I just joined the blue hydra club recently...what a beautiful, happy color! It sounds like you and MYH had a lovely trip together!
Hclubfan - I was going back and reading the comments and saw you have a blue hydra bag too! Please share with us! We want to see photos please.

so jealous of your girls' trip! I am going with DH for our anniversary in November and am trying to save up enough for a Bolide while we're there. I do NOT think he'll have patience for more than one trip to H so I'm hoping I'll get lucky like you. Of course Bolides seem maybe easier to get, so hopefully that will work in my favor....otherwise I'll have to put him in a cafe with a carafe of wine while I go back for the second (or more) trip.:graucho:

That's sweet of you MYH, but I don't want to hijack your lovely thread! I did start a thread on my blue hydra Kelly about a month ago, because I was agonizing over whether to keep it or not (I did, and will bust it out of its box again next month, when we celebrate a big wedding anniversary!). I'm looking forward to hearing more about your adventures in Paris!

I'm traveling but just wanted to say congrats on the beautiful new bags and scarves my two dears!!! I have so enjoyed sharing your trip and excitement with you. [emoji8][emoji8]
