Hi, I just Google but click images and try and hunt it down. There are still some reviews on YT which I also always check out. But, tbh, I’ve only been buying Mulberry since 2012-13 and I’ve never come across some of the bags on here. This is the best site for advice, in my opinion. Some FB sites are not always user friendly. I’ve never seen or experienced that on here. Take care x
I will do that thank you.

Im very grateful, thank you. I agree I’m absolutely shocked that they put ‘rejuvenated’ in the description. Re the Gracie, there are a couple of cream ones and the description states leather discolouration. You cant see it in the photos?? Most I’ve seen said condition ‘Fair’ so by saying those two things they are covering themselves. As I said before, people appear to be rushing to buy as the Darley went while I it was in my basket! Even in the photos you can see, on some, marks that a suitable restore leather cream will fix. It could be a great scheme but personally from my limited experience they are buying bags off people for not very much, doing naff all then reselling at a HUGE profit, relying on the Bought Direct From Mulberry tag and receipt. Again my opinion, people are going to find themselves with bags they are unable to sell on without a huge loss. I bore my husband to the point of him wanting to stick pins in his eyes but even he ‘gets it’….I go on enough. I’lll only keep one, and I had both a small and large maple, but I really did like the Ledbury but only the croc one. I really do appreciate your help. Thank you

Thank you.
It’s here, I’d remembered wrong, the thread is from 2011 but details names and prices of bags from 2002 onward https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/what-is-vintage-mulberry.694110/

Just as an example of what it is that’s bugging me -

according to that thread Araline was £395 new in 2006, so a person handing one into the mulberry exchange would get a (limited) £99 voucher under the 25% rule (*if* they have a receipt to prove they paid that price for it).

The one Araline currently listed for sale in the pre-loved section is £400, £5 more expensive than cost to start off with and *at least* £300 more than the seller got for it. Maybe M did £200 of repairs to it - I don’t know ‘cos they don’t tell us - or maybe they gave it a wipe down and put the price up by £300

Maybe it’s something I need to get over & I understand everyone needs to make money, but the profit Vs seller loss leaves a funny taste.

Thank you so much for the link . I can't get my head round it being more than it was new. The condition of some of the bags doesn't justify it. Its not just you.

Another big update, too many lovely bags to list, love the round sports bag (don’t remember that one?), green mini Ant & nude plonge Alexa which looks to be in amazing condition for a light coloured bag of its age.

There’s been a plonge clutch plus an oversize on Ebay for a while. I’ve had one and wasn’t keen so didn't look any further. But the clutch was £99.

Ok, I thought I’d photograph for you my purchases from Mulberry Exchange. For starters I’d made a huge error and didn’t buy the Maple but a Bella Hobo. The picture of the back of the Bella was out of focus but it was very crumpled. I have not kept either bag. The Ledbury was £375 and Bella Hobo £400. I’ve added their official photo from the Mulberry site.

I still think it’s really lovely that vintage bags are recycled like this but i’m still very surprised at the pricing of most of them, annnnd that a lot of them actually sell. Granted some aren’t kept hold of! Some prices vs descriptions are a little nuts!
I agree. I returned simply because of the price against condition. You really can’t see the condition until you buy so if they have them in store, which I believe someone said they do, I’d highly recommend you go that route if you can.

What condition was advertised for the bags you sent back?

Yes, Regent Street have preloved bags on display.

Well as I said the Bella was an error on my part as meant to buy the Maple, but the back was so crumpled it looked more like plonge leather. £400. I think most items Ive looked at say fair. The Ledbury again, fair. £375. The problem is they state ‘fair, scratches, discolouration BUT the photos do not always show the flaws. For instance there are a couple of light bags and in the description it states discolouration but you can’t see it. Words cover them but the pictures rarely show the true condition. So in person is best but I’m waiting for the next sale in Jan as cannot use the voucher at the outlets. The pre loved are generally, and in my opinion, over priced. Good luck at Regent St.

It says they ‘expertly rejuvenate’ the preloved bags they buy …
Yes……... It’s why I posted the pictures. Thought it would show the process better, I just buggered up taking the most important photos. Typical. Everyone’s views or stance on bags can and does vary. ‘Many expect to get the entire Mulberry experience with second hand bags and pay very little’ on EBay or Facebook. That’s a quote from a FB Mulberry group admin and shes generally right. It’s a great scheme especially if you have a bag with a fault, at the moment, and used bags don't seem to be moving as quickly as they were at present, which is understandable. I was just miffed they changed the rules of the vouchers excluding purchases from outlets. The exchange advisors are lovely, I’ve yet to find an unhelpful non store mulberry advisor In all the years I’ve bought from them. I’m not writing the scheme off but the questions some have raised have merit.
