Money is NOT an object...your dream engagement ring...

If money was not object, I'd get a naturally colored diamond - probably canary yellow. Maybe a 2 carat solitaire and some white diamonds on both the engagement ring and the wedding band.

If money was not object, I would want a 3ct. Cartier's solitaire.
I love the Tiffany classic solitaire, but tried on 3 carat both in
Tiffany and Cartier settings and I felt the lower, 4-prong
setting might be better for over 3 carat stone!

But, I am not sure now if I would want to wear 3 carat diamond ring
in the future.:p

Let me share this picture.
This is the Tifffany solitaire ring with "6" carat!
The price: $900,000

Amaging! and too big!!!

Definately a round diamond solitaire, maybe 1-2 carats, totally flawless and excellent cut.

Maybe tiffany's...

However my more realistic engagement ring is basically the same just smaller carats and eye clean and not tiffany's :smile1:

this would coordinate perfectly with my bird of paradise right hand ring! \(^(oo)^)/ I love that it's a between the finger ring, but it still has that one large pear stone, which gives it more of an engagement ring-y feel

from VC&A, naturally (^(oo)^)

I'm completely enamored with my engagement ring (Tiffany three stone round brilliant, little over 2 cts). I love it and for me, it's the perfect "wear it all the time for the rest of my life ring." I think it's so classic that I can really wear whatever kind of jewelry I want with it, like other rings.

BUT my fiance knows that if we reach the point that buying a multiple carats ring wouldn't be a financial hardship... bring it on and that sucker will be worn for special occasions!

I'd LOVE a big honkin' 4 carat marquise, emerald cut or Asscher cut RHR. Definitely wouldn't want to wear that kind of ring to Walgreens or to work, but I'd die for a killer RHR like that to wear for events and parties. A girl can dream, right?

The smallest one, the green diamond is most expensive ($400~500 M)!

The yellow diamond is off course Graff's.

Everyone seems to love HUGE diamonds!!!
I have no desire for HUGE diamonds becaused nowhere to go with..
Perhaps, as an Christmas ornament. haha

I agree. . . Colored diamonds are awesome!

Just a correction.

The vivid green diamond auctioned by Sotheby's did NOT sell for 400-500 million dollars. No single stone has been sold at any auction for this amount (you could buy dozens of the world's most rare stones at half a billion dollars!)

The vivid green diamond went for approximately 3.1 million Swiss Francs or a little below 3 million US dollars.

Uhg! Sorry for my mistake.
400-500 million dollars are totally wrong numbers.
According to the article I have read, the market value is estimated at 2.8 -4.6 million dollars.:p
