If money were no object but I had to choose a ring I would be comfortable to wear; I would love say, a 5ct D VVS1, in a plat 4 prong claw Leon setting (but he would have to be nice to me :graucho:).
Yup, I wouldn't throw that outta bed for eating crackers.....

I'm definitely not a ring girl (only have 2: engagement and wedding) but certain exceptions can be made :graucho:.

I had a chance to put this 23 carat (D-IF! :wtf:) on my finger during a Chopard 'workshop' (read free lunch, LOL) and I definitely want one! Alas, I have to hope that somehow my husband suddenly turns out to be a long lost child of a Russian oligarch .

I would die a happy death if my boyfriend proposed to me with this ring!!!

That Chopard diamond would probably retail for somewhere in the 3-3.5 million US dollars price range. A similar D-IF but slightly bigger diamond sold at Sotheby's last year for 3.5 million USD.

A "bargain", considering Chopard previously sold this 9 carat Blue Diamond for 16 million USD.

The smallest one, the green diamond is most expensive ($400~500 M)!

The yellow diamond is off course Graff's.

Everyone seems to love HUGE diamonds!!!
I have no desire for HUGE diamonds becaused nowhere to go with..
Perhaps, as an Christmas ornament. haha

This is what I'm talking about!

To your point, my DS's e-ring's main stone is almost 6 cttw and I can say that she doesn't wear it everyday... It is gorgeous but not practical. I'd love something around the size of the blue or green! I also love purple and red diamonds. A girl can dream!!!!

If it were a white diamond, it would have to be a D, IF.

I've seen some gorgeous rings in these threads.......and TDF diamond bands! Thing is, do we have to have an Anniversary to enjoy a diamond band on our fingers? Is a diamond band an acceptable "e-ring"?

Me? I LOVE my e-ring and the BLING it gives......love looking at it. But then, I also love my diamond band.....feel equally happy wearing it and nothing else.

I suppose it's great if you have both, but if you could have only one......which are you? A "Ring" girl? Or "Band" girl?

Or both?!

u know what's interesting is that out of the few hundred or so posts on this thread, most "dream" rings are very large carat sizes whereas the e-ring e-poll thread : size versus proportion had over half of the women answer they'd prefer proportion over size.
