That Chopard diamond would probably retail for somewhere in the 3-3.5 million US dollars price range. A similar D-IF but slightly bigger diamond sold at Sotheby's last year for 3.5 million USD.

I wish I could buy a vivid green diamond. I have an antique champagne diamond ring and white diamonds. I would love to add to my collection.

To your point, my DS's e-ring's main stone is almost 6 cttw and I can say that she doesn't wear it everyday... It is gorgeous but not practical. I'd love something around the size of the blue or green! I also love purple and red diamonds. A girl can dream!!!!

I've seen some gorgeous rings in these threads.......and TDF diamond bands! Thing is, do we have to have an Anniversary to enjoy a diamond band on our fingers? Is a diamond band an acceptable "e-ring"?
Me? I LOVE my e-ring and the BLING it gives......love looking at it. But then, I also love my diamond band.....feel equally happy wearing it and nothing else.

My dream engagement ring would be the Tiffany setting with a 1 carat diamond. which is around $10,000.

u know what's interesting is that out of the few hundred or so posts on this thread, most "dream" rings are very large carat sizes whereas the e-ring e-poll thread : size versus proportion had over half of the women answer they'd prefer proportion over size.
The Steinmetz Pink Diamond (59.6cts) would be pretty awesome. DH said he would build me a mini helicopter to carry my hand and help avoid shoulder dislocation.
