In another thread they talk about Yorkdale only having boxes around Christmas time - it is expanding so maybe in future they will have enough space to offer them year round.

I agree if they are heat-stamping an item they need to be sure of size and colour before they do it!
 
I saw Joe at the Chanel boutique located inside Holt Renfrew on Bloor St. I've always had amazing service from him and he smiles this wide |______________________________________________________________________________| everytime he greets me. It sucks how he's two faced -_- Anyways, I saw him working as an SA for Chanel, so I don't think he's in the background at all.

Oh, and there is an SA, he speaks in a British accent and he is of Indian descent (I think?)..and hes VERY helpful!! I think he's new?

Yes, he is new there. He's very polite and I love his accent! Since he is new he doesn't know very much but I was happy to guide him along lol... I love his accent and he has a good attitude.

Yup, do you know his name? I feel really bad, he HELPED me a lot but I didn't end up buying anything. I will get my next LV from him..(whenever that is lol)
 
Yes I had him help me with the damier papillion 30 when I was in Toronto this past July. His name is Amar. Poor guy he had a hard time finding the papillion for me, he was looking through every drawer. He had asked help from another S.A. His co worker did not help him nice teamwork?! But Amar did finally find it and I purchased it! He is a really nice. Will definitely look for him again!

What?? Joe is now gone from LV - I saw him not that long ago at the stand alone LV store on Bloor...I know I am a minority on this, but I actually like Joe..I think I'll go visit him at Chanel

I miss Joe! He was always very nice to me even when I barely made purchases. I have spent around 8k at LV this year (since Jan) and I was in LV yesterday night. The new guy (British accent, dark hair and eyes) was helping me for about 5 minutes. Then he got sidetracked and left me waiting for about 20 minutes while he helped out some hoochies that were barely wearing clothing and were looking at pochettes.

I'm sorry... like... I'm about to either buy a Trevi PM or a Empreinte Lumi... and you just left me waiting for close to 30 minutes so that someone can choose between a damier and a mono pochette? I was just standing there in front of them with my mouth open, shaking my head. They ended up leaving without a purchase 10 minutes after that. Then he disappeared again and I asked someone else to bring me a Trevi PM... they said they were sold out. Well, great.

I don't blame him solely, because the two customers that interrupted them were clingy and rude and wouldn't leave him alone. But... honestly. You guys need to get your ish together. You used to be my favourite boutique and now I can't stop shaking my head. I left and bought a Bal instead without thinking twice and only now do I want to rant about this awful experience. I've had better experience at Chanel and that's not saying much.

LOL... yes he had a very hard time finding the items I wanted as well... he was asking other SA's and looking through all the drawers... and bringing me the wrong items... I just laughed it off cuz he was trying really hard and always had a nice smile although he must of been quite frustrated. I guess I was in a good mood and feeling patient that day.
 
I recently heard from a SA at Holts @ Yorkdale that Joe (mean ponytail guy) no longer works with LV (both at Yorkdale & Bloor) and that he transferred to Chanel Flagship store on Bloor Street. Thought some people here might be interested XD

They also speculate that there were complaints about his customer service and his lazy behaviour (ie: making pregnant SA's go downstairs in the basement with all the parcels and blatantly refuse to help them) resulted in the transfer. The SA's also told me they think he's working at the back at Chanel and is not a SA there...

Wow! havent been on here in a while and have not been back to LV at yorkdale, refuse to go. BUT NOW THAT JOE IS GONE, I might return! great to hear he is gone, he should not be dealing with people at all. Too many complaints about this guy.
 
I saw Joe at Chanel in HR on Sunday. I thought he looks familiar & reminds me of his bad services, but I can't recall where I saw him before. Not sure if he's a full-time SA at the store though, he may be covering for the regulars?
 
LOUIS VUITTON YORKDALE- AWFUL! So I went in to exchange my neverfull for the second time, the first one I got was faded out (like it had been out in the sun too long) the second one the straps were a different color than the rest of the bag.


I know this was posted a while ago, but does this happen often? Do people receive "faded out" bags or ones with straps that are different colors? I was going to place an order online, and now I'm afraid.

I would never buy from LV without seeing first especially if its a lower priced bag like the neverfull. I would go to the store and see two and compare. Thats what I should have done, and im still not happy with my bag because my neverfull is more faded then my palermo pm which is 2 yrs older. I will never buy LV at yorkdale again. As for , JOE he should not be selling retail anywhere, his condascending inappropriate , rude attitude is appaling, poor chanel.

I wonder why your NF looked more faded. You would think that it should not have passed their inspection (I'm assuming all of their bags/accessories are thoroughly inspected before being sent to the boutiques). I would be upset too if I spent that much on a bag and it had an issue, and the SA you dealt with sounds very unprofessional.

I personally don't really care for going to the boutiques. The only good experience I had was when I bought my Lockit Horizontal at the LV shop inside of Macy's in NYC. With that being said, I was going to order my next bag online from LV's website, but now I am a little hesitant...
 
I saw Joe at Bloor HR and he was at Chanel:) He is actually a funny guy and he is not that bad:) i didnt like him at first too, but now he is really cool:)
I actually feel he fis with Chanel attitude well..Karl would approve lol
